Terror attack in Isreal

At least 15 injured -- three severely -- in explosion Israeli police say was terror attack at pedestrian mall in Tel Aviv. Details soon.

the radio reports, the bomber wanted to enter a seaside cafe (mike's place), as by israel law each public place must employ a gaurd. as the gaurd refused entrance to the bomber, he immediately set off his detination.

currently israeli radio reports 35 injured, 10 severaly. 3 dead, not including the bomber.

i hope something can be done quickly to dismantle such terrorism and the people who organize it.

IMO, the best thing that can be done about it is to keep all the other countries out of it and let Palestine and Israel solve their own problems.

But that'll never happen... there must always be public advocations and condemnations and support of something, whether it be bombers or soldiers...

im not going to say that israel is a perfect angel, however your cyclical dependence is false.

if israel were to stop occupying and interfering in palestinian lands, terrorism would still occur agianst the nation of israel (i refer you to the charters of islamic jihad and the hamas). on the other hand i can gaurentee you that if the palestinians were to stop terrorizing israel there would be no occupation, and not killing done agianst palestinians (as proven by the peace israel has signed and maintaned with egypt and jordan).

the palestinians are acting like bratty children for reasons they believe are justified, and the isrealies keep acting like the conservative parent who thinks they know everything and that their arguements and reasons are always logicaly justified. both parties just perpetuate the situation.

I kinda agree with Izzy in this regard. Let's look deeper into the reasonings behind this attack. Well, as reuters so excellentely points out, this attacked occurred HOURS after a palestinian establishment of a cabinet to achieve peace.

What are the implications of such an attack? That ANY attempts towards peaceful negotiations and resolution are going to be continually thwarted by militant groups. That these militant groups cannot even cooperate with their own VOTED representatives implies that the blame for the middle east peace process does not fall upon the PA or Israel, it falls squarely on the backs of these militant organizations. They NEED to be removed for the peace process to continue.
