cheezy dance tunes okay? Back in the day i downloaded the first in trance we trust and was addicted to trance from then on.

First Song

VERY early on, I would say that 2 Unlimited - Get Ready for This, however, that faze sort of passed. Most recently, Darude's Sandstorm and Voodoo and Serano's Blood is Pumping hooked me on Electronica once again.

Posted by Micheline on Apr-30-2003 01:57:

in the old days you can easily get hooked into the electronic music, because of the great artists. Now days with all this trance and cheesy dance music i think we are losing fans.

Posted by torontotrance on Apr-30-2003 01:59:

i was into d'n'b before trance but electronic music

rofl....1994

real mcCoy - runaway.

song that got me into trance was xpander.

you got yer facts mixed up....europe and north america were under the craze not just Canada.

Posted by Micheline on Apr-30-2003 02:14:

you dont have to be ashaimed of that. Its cool. Thats why i like Canada. A little bit.
Anyway i know better. I had been in forums and clubs about eurodance for years and most then half the members were from Canada. Your country was the first one to actually produce eurodance out of Europe.

Anyone here into MOD tracking? (.xm . it .mod files)

They're kind of like better sounding midi... a very basic sampling sequencer like frooty loops. I had a few electronic ones I had downloaded and enjoyed, and I was broadcasting them over my small... 10 person shoutcast station. One of the listeners sent me an ICQ saying 'What is this stuff? I bet if you like these songs, you'd like this even more:"

He sent me KayCee - Escape.... And the rest is history.

P.S. http://www.modarchive.com has a huge selection of Mods if you're curious to know what I'm talking about.

it was mostly (probably) Toronto supporting it in the 90s since we had two radio stations playing euro/dance/house

I doubt the rest of the country knows what euro music is

Posted by Micheline on Apr-30-2003 02:53:

jeez, only 2 Unlimited? There were a lot more eurodance projects and thats all you can say? tsk tsk tsk

Posted by DarkFall01 on Apr-30-2003 02:53:
