How to Use a Cue Sheet W/Out Having Your Cd Get Fucked Up in the process?
i've used nero a billion times to open cue sheets. and every time, i fuck up my cd. i've tried it on games, albums, the works, but i don't know how to use a cue sheet correctly without ruining the cd in the process. i would like it if some tA's could give me some advice of how to use a cue sheet correctly?

What do you mean use it correctly? Open it in notepad and make sure the path to the file is correct. Then in nero just go to file>burn image and select the cue.
i would always open it using nero. so when i open it with notepad, do i have to copy the contents from the file onto nero. or just plain open it through nero. cuz that's what i've done a billion times and my cd has still gotten fucked up.

umm
I dunno why you are having problems man....I use nero all the time with cue sheets and never have any problems at all....
maybe you are just incompetent??
just goto File> Burn Image and open the cue file
easy as hell
When you open the cue with notepad just make sure that the directory path is right. If the file you are trying to burn is in the directory "chickswithdicks/rockoutwithyourcockout.mpeg" make sure that the file path in the .cue file says "chickswithdicks/rockoutwithyourcockout.mpeg"
thxs a lot. i'll get back to you if i have any problems.

when i try to use the cuefile..it gives me an error burn underrun protected and fails to burn...suggestions?
Does your drive have buffer-underrun protection?
Try turning dma mode off if it is on, or try burning at a slower speed.
i've found that on my PC, i have to convert an MP3 to wav before i can burn the cuesheet, obviously making the needed changes on the sheet.
but try that, but the best tip is to always check the cuesheet to make sure it has the correct filename/dir and file type.
ie:
FILE "my mix cd.wav" WAVE
(if the cuesheet is saved in the same dir as the audio file you don't need to have the full file path in the file name)
If you use CDRWIN with a generated serial number that the software deems ressembling a real one (but invalid) it accepts it, but as it burns, it does writting errors and basically scraps the disks.. Are you using a pirated copy of cdrwin by any chance??
