i just went on the only-djs website,
and there's supposedly another mix of this
track entitled "mike koglin vs. jono grant mix."
i think that this is just a simple mislabelling
of track names.
can someone plz clarify?

That is wrong, surely mislabel. The right version is Mike Koglin VS Darren Tate.

well.. as for the chilled/energetic bit, i think the melody is chilled but the synths that are used make it really energetic.
