these forusm are jsut pure quality, the amount of people who says respect to the posse at the end of every post, and call scooters music techno, is fucking hilarious.
needless to say i got banned for saying scooter isnt techno.
not only that, one of them said i had been subject to the commercial shit of judge jules and didnt know what real techno was, hahahahahaha.

i wonder why many "Scooter hater TAs" even bother to go the Scooter forums if they really hate the group? I think they actually like their sound and just won't admit it. 
Let the Scooter fans be in their misery, they are what they are and don't understand the basics of electronic music anyway.. If i'd hate some artist, i can just let him/her/them be as they are, i don't need to go to their home page to make fun of them or bash them. What HP (Scooter's MC) says, just is their law. 
I'm not their fan anymore, but i was back in mid 90s when they had some decent tunes.. nowadays i hate them, and especially their last few years' productions. Where the f**k did their originality go after the 1st 1-2 albums? They just started to rip-off tunes like maniacs.

Well, all the electronic music in the early years was reffered to as techno. It's just that the meaning of the word techno changed over the years so you could say before that Scooter is techno, while saying it now sounds stupid.
Anyway, each to his own liking, if they like Scooter, let them, who cares.
Scooter is still alive? I thought they died out with the likes of the vengaboys, aqua, dune, etc.

Just any other form of music there is a comercial side of techno too. So if you hear someone refering to them as techno they are not that far way. its comercial techno.

I would probably never want to hear Scooter being played in a set or at a club, but I must admit, I can't help but smile and chuckle to myself whenever I listen to their music on my own. They're so ridiculous and over the top that I don't even consider them in the same category as any other "electronic" group. I'm sure they'd be a blast to see in concert.

since Im a huge scooter fan I guess I should be on the side of the "posse" who posts on the scooter-techno forums. But that forum is horrible I admit. However, there are other scooter forums which are more open to other kind of music and groups and also focusing on Scooter as well.
As for scooter haters all I got to say is, they been kicking ass since 1994 and changed styles as years went by and still on the scene.
the brand new album just came out and its one of the best albums they have come up with. The "rip off" tracks, well everyone is doing it not just scooter. they have produced countless original songs and hits. If you dont like them its cool, but I hate when people make fun of others because the music or groups they listen to. To go on a forum just to get banned just shows me that you are ignorant and need to grow up.

I agree that many of the fans there are way too "serious", ie everything Scooter make is great, their covers are 1000 times better than the original etc. But I still think that registering just to bash them is unnecessary
I'm not such a huge fan as I was a few years ago, but I still like them.
