Simon's Gemini Party Returns...With Trance!
For 11 years now Simon's has brought the Gemini party, which has featured Djs like Carl Cox and Deisleboy. The party is always packed and is always a great show.
This year, the headliner is Taylor, a Platipus/Bedrock recording artist out of Los Angeles.
Taylor hasn't been to Simon's in more than 2 years, because of the scene, or lack of in Gainesville lately.
Gainesville has been needing Trance, but to get more there has to be a turnout.
5 Bucks, and no dress code, with 18-18" woofers...as always at Simons!
TA's...This will be worth the drive!
is the gemini party free for geminis as it was in the past?

Hmmmmmmm, i remember taylor from back in the day. Before i was really into the scene a friend of mine was friends with Taylor and always went to his gigs. He would tell me how good taylor was, it would be tight to see him somewhere close. Spike i might hit u up and try to make it to this one. Is it on a sat?
I'm not sure about the Gemini rule this year, I'll ask JoeC about it. He didn't say that it wasn't, and since it always has been...dunno.
Brent, Bobby, you guys should definatly make it! It's only 5 bucks, and Taylor is niiiice.
I'll run a check on afterparties too.Its THE Gemini party, I'm sure theres one somewhere! Brent's Farewell to Gainesville Party. Ya'll tell Flo to get down here too! I know its a 2AM thing, but it could be worse, and the radio has 2 Electronic Music afterparty shows on Saturdays now! We'll stop by the station and say Hey to the Trance DJ Nytrix.
And yes, its on a Saturday. The week after Memorial Day (Rise, anyone?)
hmmMMmmmMMmm
Im definately down man, keep this thread updated with info. Could i maybe crash at your place??
hhmmm.. maybe ill try to swing this one seeing as ive never seen taylor before only problem bein all my friends in town will be sellout bitches
so i might have to do it solo
^^^As I understand, there will be a strong showing from TA there, so you won't have to go completely solo.
Bobby, I don't live in the same apt.
After my Ultra "experience" I moved back home, unfortunatly. However, Dane and Life(I think Flo and Bobby met them) live a block away from the olf apt. I'll probally stay at one of their houses that night. I'll ask Life if a couple people can crash on the floor or some shit.
We need to catch dinner before we go. Anyone down for Hooters? There is one only about 2 blocks from Simon's.
On the cheaper side we have Taco Bell, Checker's, and Quizno's. But Hooters is my vote.
The Flyer is out. Sweet graphic on it, lol.
So Brent, Bobby, ya'll coming out for this?
Gemini Party...

i gotta work saturday nights. so i don't think i'll be making it to this one
have fun guys!
OK everyone, Hopefully this will be a nice meeting and shite.
I know there will be a party of 2 that night so we have something to do after the club closes, and I'll ask around about Gemini afterparties.
My cell # is 352-278-4993. Anyone who is coming to Gainesville for this give me a call, I'll give you details/directions/party info/meetup/whatever.
Bottle, Halycon, don't know you guys, but we should all definatly meet up for a TA dinner(Hooters?) beforehand so we can walk to the club. I got myself and the other TAs guestlist(lol, Brent)last time we all went to Simon's, so I'll check on it again.
bump. This needs to stay on page 1
What do you guys think about eating at Hooters before we go? Its walking distance to Simon's and always good umm...food.
Also give us a chance to meet and get our heads right before we go in.
Also, just in case, someone bring their tables in their trunk or something. I'm looking for an afterparty, but we may have to improvise, which is always an option.
