some sweet tracks on this album. the already released tracks rock - visible noise, gravastar, know your enemy etc.
but so far im liking true to form, marrakech, i'm still awake, we are in control, hell the whole album >_<

be buying this when it's released for sure..

This album fucking rules, a lot different to Wider Angle though, it's hard to choose which is better. You can hear the difference of 3-4 years has done to them. Where as Wider Angle was massiive with huge strings and sounds, explosions, and tracks which were filled up to the max with all these little intricacys, this albums more stripped back, don't get me wrong the sophistication in the tracks is there, but it's alot more subtle, awesome stuff. Can't wait till i can buy the real deal, the watermarks in this promo are shitting me..especially at the peaks of the tracks

not really a full out dance album. im a bit disappointed as they tried too hard with the orchestra... hopefully it'll grow on me.

Didn't realize that this album was coming out so quickly...!

I'm a huge fan of Hybrid and will make a point of picking this up as soon as it hits the shelves. I'm interested to see what the new tracks sound like...I've had Know Your Enemy and Visible Noise for quite some time now, and if the album is along those lines it should be another great release...

damn promo!! its a pain in the ass waiting for the retail release when the promo is already floating around on the internet..
and i said i was not gonna download it! hehe

early June i think it will be released in stores..

I think i'll be "different" from everyone else in this thread and download it, then burn it to a cd.. rather than buy it. Going to the store is hard for me cause i would be away from the computer for too long.. and get panic attacks...

It's simple, promos are pressed and given to radio stations to get anticipation built up for the record...

Coincidentally, if anyone here really, really wants to buy it now I'm sure some people are selling promos on ebay as we speak for outrageous sums of money.

I presume you weren't a fan of the 'wide angle' album either then? Coz its full of orchestral chords, courtesy of the Russian federal orchestra

That would be "Higher then a Skyscraper" which was dropped as the opening song on Hybrids recent XFM Radio set (April 25th, 2003). Awesome song, and great CD from the Swansea lads !

Just *downloaded* this (shhhhh) and this is just an AMAZING cd. I've listened to quite a few more experimental albums in the past (but my memory fails me atm) and this beats them all hehe, and I like every track. I'll definitely be buying this if I can get a hold of it in HMV
