The Results from Track of the Year
Sorry for the delay, they were worked out but i wanted JayD to post them as he ran it all, but still he hasnt, official results:
Solar Stone - Solar Coaster = 86 votes
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun = 81 votes
Plastic Boy - Silverbath = 73 votes
James Holden - Nothing = 52 votes
Solid Sessions - Janeiro 2002 = 41 votes
my gosh, it's fucking may
this took way way too long
It was easier when the aussie dude (forget his name) did it.
Solar Coaster takes the honours
Great tune perfectly sums up last summer in Ibiza for me
Any winner is always going to be contraversal with so many great tunes and difference of opinion
Capetown -Pitstop and WOW Mindcircus Gabriel & Dresden Mix should have been in there though imo
Turbotrance
All I will say is the best song from those 5 won.
but it's may, almost halfway into 2003.
congrats! to Andy Bury & Rich Mowatt!
well deserved guys !
well its about time!!!! Solar stone is soo good! i hope they keep making fine traks as they have been doing!
agree with the decision among THOSE 5, but it did take waaay too long.. soon we'll be voting for the best track of 03
yeah it took way too long. thank god it wasn't southern sun though.
How about next time we have the nomination thread and then simply one big poll for every track that gets 3 or more nominations?
What was the rationale behind the multiple "heats"?
there where other better songs that last year that didn't make the list. oh well..
it did take rather long to come up with the list though.. maybe a new strategy on counting the votes should be thought of.
anyways
late
dreamer
I think the best song from 2002 took the honors.

the remixes are ok. and actually i like the airbase remix 100000 times more than the Midway one, which i didnt think was very good at all...Re: The Results from Track of the Year

| Well I'm talking about Sirocco - Destination, which is by Solar Stone. I think youre talking about DT8 - Destination, which is by Darren Tate. |
No doubt Solarcoaster deserved number one. Great melody, very danceable, and extremely well produced. This tune is quality from start to finish.
Out of these five my favourite would be Silverbath, but Solar Coaster is not bad at all
Personally thought that 'Janiero' was a stetch to come this far... it is good, but I don't think a remix was something that could take top honors for 2002... would be a kind of sad year. Although I'm glad that 'Solarcoaster' won... definitely one of the top tunes of 2002, although I would have preferred 'Silverbath'
well deserved! it was for sure my trance tune of 02
well solarcoaster surely deserved the 1st place!
and yeah i am surprised to see janeiro in such a high position too
anyway gg
im very suprised any of those tunes managed to get such high places.
Destination is soo better than solar coaster, IMO...
