damn son. this track is niiice. congratulations on a really nice track. im listening right now and its really good. some of the stuff here on TA is way better than a lot of released material out there and this track is in that group. There isn't much i could say to improve it except on your build ups you get the energy going way up but then it drops back down instead of 'exploding'. im sure you know what i mean, and its a hard thing to do but if you could figure out how to do it by introducing a few new elements when the build up ends and it blows up then this track would just be insane. A really good example of what im talking about is at 4:41 where it feels like its about to just go over the top but it doesnt quiiite get there.

also, id just like to say i love the part at 3:42 when you slide into that breakbeat type section with that beautiful sounding instrument and then bust back into the energy at 4:13, that's mint.

all in all, this is a track i will definitely keep in my collection and i look forward to hearing more of your productions because as of right now all ive heard is the heaven's caliber remix thomas datt is working on (which rocks as well).

its really interesting to see how you and datt have this new intelligent style that is very similar but definitely distinguishable. im hoping more people follow the lead of you two and we can be the next generation of intelligent electronic music that is good for the soul. but yeah im done. peace.

Yes that breaks part in the middle of the 3rd minute is mint.. then how you throw things back into perspective.. hmm nice...

one thing.. echo the main synth/melody thingy.. its cutting in to early me thinkZ???

but appart from that.. this track is mint man.. try getting it pressed..

very nice
only thing i would have change would be the kick drum... it sounds too empty

Posted by allstar on May-08-2003 13:30:

Very nice work, the breakbeat section was my highlight!

I agree with previous comments also, about buildups!

Posted by Haak on May-08-2003 13:56:

nice track. love the breakbeat part. not sure if i liked the pattern on that main lead. love those airy pads that come in at 5:37, your style is pretty similar to Thomas Datt heh.
agree with Gil on the bassdrum, could use more omph

Hmm...interesting track. The melody was great of course, but for some reason I think it lacked power. I think you needed to add a few more elements, and BOOM this song would be banging!

But, the track was good, and the whole song layout and structure was great. I do sense positive vibes from this song man. Lotsa good emotions. This is great. I'll prolly put more comments later, cuz I gotta head out soon. Later. -Mental

Thanks to all for the feedback, praises and tips.

I am currently reworking on the track and adding/changing a few things and such. I will post up the latest version of "Bliss" very soon.

I am also currently working on another track (which should've been finished 2 years ago lol). This track is 90% complete and the "demo" will be up for all to hear soon enough.

Once again, Thanks for the feedback.

Laters.

I really enjoyed this track, although it isn't as good as Heaven's Caliber....but we know tracks like Heaven's Caliber are hard to beat, don't we!?
As it already has been mentioned i would add some echo/delay effects on the lead synth...it sounds too cut up.
Overall a very good production, very professional.....but if i where you i would focus on Heaven's Caliber when it comes to showing Labels how professional you work.

Keep on producing......

I thought this was a great track. Really nice melody and good production. I agree with the kick though. It could be bigger. I also think the main synth pattern could be a bit different. Keep up the good work

very good production, love the build-up & break.. i just don't like the main melody that much. you could have done more with those harmonies than just use 4-steps.. but overall a neat track!

I agree.
But still, a very good production!
The synth pattern is interesting and, unlike Haak, I do like it.

Great track mate like the breaks bit loads, nice touch. The only thing i'm not so so sure on is the melody. I think its just a little to fast for the whole feel of the track.

Good work though mate better than anything I can manage so well done.
