Most influental person/record?

I'm interested in what you think was/is the SINGLE most influential record of all time as far as changing the course of Trance music. Also who has been the most influential person in Trance music? Please understand that I'm NOT intrested in what you think the BEST record/DJ is.

System F - Out Of The Blue pretty much defined the way trance sounded, and sometimes still sounds, for years. It is generally considered as the blueprint of the (dutch) trance sound. Many records were influenced by this baby.

And since Out Of The Blue was produced by Ferry Corsten, he's probably one of the most influental persons in trance history. I'm not saying he's THE one, but he is important.

But there are many more producers/records that have had their saying in the trance scene. Even Sven Vath, who's been a techno DJ for years now, has been important for the trance scene.

i think with his Eye-Q Label Sven V�th has been creating one of the origins of trance.

Also Paul Oakenfold has been very important for trance, just think about the Essential Mix World Tour

and isn�t Not over Yet by Planet Perfecto?

certainly as far as the UK scene is concerned oakey is definatly one of the most influential.. along with rob tissera.

in trance as a whole i would put the name DJ dag up there too
