Logitech Z680?

Thinking of buying these....$425CND new

Could someone give me some reviews on this set and or point me to a good discusion board..

I know the bass is really loud and I heard there is a lot og hissing cause of the intensity of the speakers but I also heard that there were revisions done on the model and the new one does not hiss but takes away from the power.????these are all scattered thoughts I have...someone please tell me what you think if you own them..

I have the 4.1 version - z560's for my computer. The bass IS overpowered on mine. I have it turned down to the lowest, and sometimes I want to turn it down even more, because I don't want to disturb my housemates.

Also, they're designed as computer speakers / home theatre speakers, so I dunno if you can enjoy music coming from your mixer in 5.1 surround sound. It might just output through the front 2 speakers and the sub.
