Remix Competition!



A lot of you have heard us talking about this for awhile now. Well, its finally here! The Nth Degree Records Remix Competition!

This is your chance to get your track pressed on vinyl or win other cool prizes...software, records and more! Details below... ( For full details on this Remix Competition, please visit the following url: http://www.sectionz.com/ndr_comp.asp )

The Competition:
Contestants are to remix a track named �Siren�s Last Goodbye�; the track is not available anywhere for downloading and is unknown to the producer pool. Contestants are asked to produce remixes in the following genres:

Trance (all sub genres)
Techo (all sub genres)
House (all sub genres)
Drum and Bass (all sub genres)
Breaks (all sub genres)

The Rules:
The winners will receive prizes at the end of the competition at the discretion of the jury. Contestants are only allowed one entry per group/artist. All work must be original and not reproduced/remixed/from previous work of the artist/group or any other artist. All samples must be clear of any copyright issues. Contestants are not allowed to share entry with other contestants or make it official for public use anywhere at anytime. Rules are subject to change at any time, changes will be posted at the competition web site. The jury may extend the deadline and timeline at any time. All parties involved agree and abide by the terms that would be laid out in a potential Nth Degree Records Publishing Agreement. Contestants cannot overrule a decision by the jury. If contestants need to drop from the competition they must send an electronic message to Sinful Nature. Sinful Nature will also be responsible for writing all content and instructions for Z to post on Section Z upon review from jury members.

The Jury:
The jury consists of:
Z (aka Joshua hernandez) sectionz.com inc. President and founder
Andrew E. Muchmore (aka Infinity). Founding DJ, Nth Degree Records
Christopher Frewin. Director of Creative Development, Nth Degree Records
Sinful Nature (Writer & Producer)
The Jury will select the winning entry in the competition at their discretion, standards, norms and personal preference.

Selection process for finalists:
Each jury member selects 3 songs, at their discretion. The 15 tracks will be posted as 2-minute audio samples and that completes phase one of the competition. Phase two consists of the final 5, plus a �viewers choice� prize determined by a poll. That will receive prizes and a potential vinyl contract with Nth Degree Records.

1st Prize:
Signed 12" copies of Sinful Nature - My Spirit Is Not Broken / Amour Eternal and DeeCoy vs. Statyk - Voice Of Reason, premium account access for one year at SectionZ.com and a strong possibility of getting the track signed by Nth Degree Records if suitable for upcoming Siren's Last Goodbye 12" release.

Well, you can by the 12" when it comes out and let us know what you think. Seeing how are records have been played by Tiesto, Ferry, Armin, DJ Viro, Suzy Solar and more...i have the feeling that we might know what we are doing...but...then again...who knows...

i'm not suggesting you don't know what you are doing and it's great that they play your records.
