love the track too, melody kicks ass
Vocals are a little too cheesy though, wish there was a dub

Those vocals are just sad, beyond cheesy. The production is quality Ferry as always, but it's typical cookiecutter hands-in-the-air formulaic trance, nothing innovative or original.

agreed. its definitely a bit of the same 'ol. one of the things i like about ferry is that i think he knows full on that he makes formula driven music. the only reason i make that conclusion is because i think he puts his riding-sawtooth-melody hands in the air trance stuff out under System F. his more tech-psy-beepoopbop trancehead stuff is for gouryella (leave tijs out of this for now), his more house-disco-trance stuff is moonman, etc.

what i'm waiting for is another Ferry Corsten release. Punk (kid mix especially) is just one of those tunes for me.

oh, and his 4x4 song sucks

have u checked out the Matti Laamanen (cosmicman) remix on the flip? Aint to shabby and nice interpretation of the originals meldody, bassline is sorta flat tho

once you've produced a track that's even remotely as good as ferry's, then you can speak. but until then, shut your mouth.

i cant take this crap anymore. im sick of the whole cheesy bandwagoining cliche shit going on. so how are the vocals cheesy? do they attract commercialism? for christ sake, stop using cheesy as an excuse to think your music taste is beyond other peoples.

i fucking 100% agree with you. just cuz someone doesn't like a tune, they always have to diss it by calling it cheese.

i recognized it's a quality production. but the fact is that Spaceman is yet another track that follows the same old formula and gives out the same vibe that imo has gotten stale after 4 years of it being burned out. you can't deny there's absolutely nothing original about it.

the comment about the vocals has nothing to do with commercialism, with cheesy i mean they are bland and pretentiously pseudo-deep. cheese works out sometimes, especially when it's made in holland and with good taste, but this one just doesn't cut it for me.

the last ferry track that made me go was Punk, after that i haven't heard anything impressive at all from him.

understood, me, myself, actually like a lot of so-called "cheesy" tracks such as antillas stuff ;p

Agreed. I'm getting tired of him going into all the PvD threads and creating flames that would have otherwise not been there. The great thing is, after he says something stupid, when you throw an argument at him, he says something even more stupid I wouldn't worry about it.

this track own for sure..but a please release a DUB mix!!!

i can't decide which track is better, this one or Push's new: Plastic Boy - Live Another Life.

Talking

its a TUNE i like it a lot! CHeers!

Posted by Mr.Mystery on May-14-2003 07:36:

Great track. (The ONLY good track from the awful System F album, in fact)

...and that melody just cries out for a Push remix...

Posted by Breeze on May-14-2003 09:23:

U know it doesnt matter how the make the track as long as it sounds good i dont give a fuck. Indigo is a sick song. space man kicks as well. theres always someone whos gonna say a track is shit. they dont realise how much effort it takes to make a quality track. Until they make the ultimate album they can stop dissin producers and shut the fuck up. hahaha

trance is my ticket out of this poxy world.

Posted by Pandoneus on May-14-2003 09:31:

Great trance track and for me one of the best System F-productions!

Posted by joeh on May-14-2003 09:37:

Track is great - vocals do totally ruin it.

Not that the System F alias hasn't already had shite tracks on it such as Soul on Soul .

Matti Laamanen remix however has very little vocals and is therefore brilliant.

i have absolutely no need to prove you wrong, I just find you owning vinyl a funny concept, sure you didn't get one of your l337 mp3's and burn it onto CD?
and play it out in front of 10,000 people?
are you sure?
ok
as for christopher b
who the fuck are you?

Just a highschool student, which makes you look even more sad by proving my point. You have your own oppinions and tastes in music, and that's cool, but when you go around simply bashing everyone else and not even giving your own thoughts or reasons as to why their oppinion is "wrong", you're spamming, and needlessly pissing everyone off.

Posted by Gladius on May-14-2003 12:12:

man Az, why are you so frustrated, is it necessary to be agressive all the time???

:edit:
now for the track. i think its not bad at all (both original and matti laamanen rmx) but still not even close the 2 best ones: elevate & exhale (avb rmx)

btw, i think the together cd had like 2 nice tunes: savannah (!!) & together

where here have I tried to prove anyones opinions wrong? Seventh City is a cock, who thinks he's a big man cos he gets 0day MP3's. In actual fact he's 15 with a fast connection
yet again I was laughing at the concept of him owning a vinyl, not the choice in track, as it's not a bad track.....
and the "who the fuck are you" comment regarded the fact I've never ever seen you post before, so was wondering why you felt the need to say that. Altho looking back, you mentioned me bashing PvD, so I probably offended you in someway in a PvD post.
Not that I care, if you're lame enough to get worked up about my comments on the Vandit gimps, your opinions going to mean shit to me
