Exclamation Possible problems with DJM-600

The 600 gets really hot make sure you have enough air flow and nothing is obstructing the air vents on it. other then that i dunno. you could always exchange it to be safe and say its broken if your exchange period isn't up yet.

Thank you so much Tempestrip, its both an honor and a pleasure hearing your perspective/advice. I was an avid listener of yours when it was you mixed in the TA chat room. To my knowlage the DJM-600 could possibly, as you mentioned develop overtime a heat due to useage, though as you recomeneded, if it worsens I'll be sure to check with whom it was purchased from. Again thank you for clearing up the matter.

If you bought it locally, I would just exchange it! A smell of something burnt is never good.
