Well, I just read this news, this Blank and Jones spinning in UTOPIA is a FAKE!!! So SWAMPER!! take that AD OUT!!! showing Blank and Jones spinning!!!! and those attending get the money back!!!! This is what Blank and Jones had to say!!!!

"We are sorry to say that we will not spinning at a party called UTOPIA 3 on June 30th in Montreal, Canada! Fact is we never were booked for this party so it's not our fault that we can't be there! In the last days, fans from Canada told us about this party and we still investigate what happend there! We are really sorry for our canadian fans! All we can say is, that you should try to get your money back if you can! You can be sure that the organisatores of this party will get really trouble from us when they only used our name for making money!

Because this is not the first time happend to us, please befor you buy any tickets in the future for a Blank & Jones gig, take a look on our official website (http://www.blankandjones.net). Only the gigs staying there are confirmed by us! If you get a flyer or a gig info that is not promoted on our website, please contact us asap.

I have to disagree TranceGeek, if Blank and Jones were coming to a club anywhere near me, I would definitely go just to see them, they are one of the best (if not THE best) pair of DJs IMO. Hehehe, just had to say that... can't let my favorite DJs get bashed on

Alright TranceGeek, time to drop some knowledge on you.

First off, Cream was a classic, it wasn't just good, it is one of those songs that are remembered through the years.
Now, it all depends on taste, and everyone's taste is different, but you cant' tell me that DJ Culture is not a great song, especially at the club, it just makes heads turn and feet move.
After Love (Club Mix) also very good, Beyond Time (JS16 vs Darude Mix) was also a great and complex song. If you want feeling and emotion, check out Sundowner (BEAUTIFUL SONG), and also The Blue Sky is good (a bit more particular taste though). Recent great songs by the duo include DJs, Fans, and Freaks (Trance Mix), and off their new album: Nightfly, Sweet Revenge, and Fragile.

Now before you critique my comments, keep in mind the mixes I put in there, some of the original songs were not as good as the mixes. Check em out, then tell me what you think.

Top 3 songs you should download to get a good idea of their dynamic style:

all you've done is list remixes that you find good... i agree, cream was a classic, but since then, they havent done anything worth mentioning... im talking about original blank and jones productions, they're simply bad!!

Sundowner - Beautiful track

DJs, fans, and freaks - (trance mix)
And from their new album - Fragile, Sweet Revenge, and Nightfly

I personally think all those songs are great, some are masterpieces, but you can't say they're bad when they have such a dynamic and varied style and they are consistent with hits...

Well, I love Blank and Jones, for the reason that they were one of the 1st ones that I heard and got me into trance, secondly, they spinn great trance and at times techno.. but their sound is very melodic, uplifting, epic in many occasions or parts of their usual sets.. if you check one of their latest MIXES, you'lls see stuff that is currently been played by Tiesto, armin, Pvd, DJ JAMX deleon and so on.. so you telling me trancegreek that you wont go see them just b/c of their productions ?!?! I personally like their stuff, but come on, they spinn other stuff so you know.. not their stuff.. you may prob Hear 1 - 2 of their stuff.. and about it.

IMO they have gone downhill recently. The nightfly was good, but nothing amazing. Cream is definitely a classic, and for that they will always be ranked as quality producers.

Why do this people keep bringing up Cream? That was several years ago. Trance has changed since then... the style, sound... and Blank & Jones have changed also. I like their creativity... and there is nothing worse than producers that make every song sound like their biggest hit. 1998 is over...

These German masters are simply great to see them playing live is fantastically energetic! What about their tracks - for ex. The
Nightfly was an anthem @ loveparade 2000. It would be grat for us all to see them...
