wow, 65 is cheap! the way i see it, one party is usually 20. 3 is 60. 5 extra for camping. but it goes all day long. really sweet price there.

now, the question is, who is all going here? i dont have any tent or camping equipment per say, so i'd need to mooch off of someone, heh.

basically, i'm up for it if a fair number of ta's come, and i have a place to sleep

who's in?

Posted by AmbiguousBliss on May-14-2003 03:26:

Thumbs up

I'm loving the look of this and totally looking forward to good times at WEMF this year. Mind you, $65 looks to be a pretty sweet deal.

I'm in, but I'm tent-less as well, lol.

i gots a tent big enough for 6....

now if only i can get a job soon to buy the ticket

Posted by ryanm on May-14-2003 03:39:

Holy dear god, this is going to be the experience of a lifetime. With a line up like that, I'm surprised the tickets aren't already sold out

As for the camping, I want to try and arrange a TA movement to WEMF (and for those who want to help out...feel free)

well I've got a good amount of camping gear that I would be willing to share around and I'm sure there are other TA's with extra gear as well so I don't think that will be a problem

Posted by bucky on May-14-2003 04:06:

*does happy dance*

That'd be wicked if Orkidea played a maybe... hmm... 4 to 5 hour set, ranging from 4am til the sun has risen.. that'd just be awesome! (and prolly wishful thinking)

Posted by tatgirl on May-14-2003 04:10:

I'm in, but count me out for the camping part. My friends did the hotel thing last year, and said that was THE way to do it. I did the camping thing there in '91- I've paid my dues.....

I gotta work out some availability for those 3 days.
OMFG...the lineup is amazing!!!!!
I really don't want to miss this.
I got some camping equipment, but also keep in mind ppl, you can sleep in your cars too.
But yea i'm aiming to go.

OMFG............insanity!!!

Posted by Walter Mindz on May-14-2003 04:46:

Not much for Trance this year ... big disappointment = no Christopher Lawrence or JOOF (for the second year in a row)!!!
Good improvement on the progressive side though, since there was pretty much none every year... and where's the Techno (I mean Hard Techno!!!)!!!???

But, i know i'll still have fun regardless, so i'll be there, just not sure if it'll be for the full 3 this year.

KarateKid

oizie daizie .. whelps i'm definately gonna try hard to put in my support for WEMF this year .. !! we really should get a TOTA bus going or something .. and rent out a hotel for us all haha ..

btw. to the Destiny guys: how was it like organizing the event this year without traditional partners like Lifeforce, Phryl, Hulla .. ? the scene in TO is definately changing and definately moving into the control of superclub promoters..

also wondering who the corporate sponsor for this year is .. ??

anyways, i'm sure u guys did a great job with the planning .. can't wait to check the party out !!

ps. i know about Pulser, but don't u guys owe us Andy Cleeton .. ?

Humminahumminahumminahummina... *gasp*

We have Cor Fijneman, DJ Rap, James Holden, Orkidea, JTD, Kenny Ken, X-Dream, Fade, Hixxy, Bailey, and BT! WOW!! I'm also a fan of Kenny Glasgow, Greg Gow, Freaky&Flipside and Sharky. Pleasurehead... where have I heard that name before?

Nat, how much did the hotel thing cost those people? If it's too much then I'll camp it.

I'd gladly chip in for a bus if we want to have a field trip.
I wonder if we could save any money if we booked a bunch of hotel rooms as a group?

Posted by Durafei on May-14-2003 15:07:

I'd come purely for the party.. don't care much for the DJs much(imho last year's line-up was much better)..

We'll see how things go, maybe I'll be there.

Great line up but only 4 areas of music, which i like cause ill be able to see more and wander less. also forr those who know the area is that part of ontario a cottage vacation area. If so does anyone know if the fishing is good up there. i would love to rent a cottage, fish during the week and then WEMF for the weekend. Also i realize i am a dork for my love of fishing.

He was just down here in Buffalo, I posted about it in this forum so that may be where it sounds familiar from. Definately a great trance dj!!
