Question Access Virus KC & Midi in Cubase - HELP!!!

Hey guys, I'm having trouble playing more than one sound at a time w/ the virus kc in Cubase SX. Like if I have one sound playing on track 1 then another sound on track 2, I can only get one sound to play at a time. I know there's something I need to change in the Virus but I can't figure it out. I dunno who all on here has a Virus & Cubase SX but if you could help it would be much appreciated!

Thanks alot!

Is your virus set to MULTI mode??

ok when I set it to multi mode it changes the sound when I select a different track in Cubase. Should I be storing each sound before I switch to the next track?

Yes you have to select/store each sound you want on the virus itself(16 multis) You're most likely just hearing one sound b/c you haven't selected the different sounds you want on different tracks.

Dude, do you have AIM?

My virus is in multi single mode, should it be in Multi instead?

So confused

Put it in Multisingle mode. Go to a midi track in Cubase and set the midi channel to 1. Go to the first part in Multisingle mode, choose the sound, and put its midi channel on 1. Do the same for a second Cubase track but put the midi channel in cubase on 2 and the one in the virus to 2. So now, Cubase is sending midi information to the first and second channels and the virus is recieving on the two different part, one for one sound and the other for the other sound. I think that works!
