I've talked to my opthalmologist and he told me that although these new contacts allow more oxygen to get through to the eyes, they still do not allow ALL and can cause many possible medical implications. Also, he told me that the dirt and dust which gets trapped on the lens can cause eye infections if the lens is not treated in saline solution for at least 4 hours each day. |
What happens when you go in the shower or get them wet somehow?
I hate it when I forget to take out my contacts before taking a shower.. and then getting water in my eyes. they stick to your eyeballs and eyelids and it's the worst feeling

I have tried so many different contacts and I can't wear any of them. I have worn contacts for about 8 years, and now I can't wear them anymore. So now I'm having laser surgery...LASEK...and no I didn't spell it wrong, that is the procedure that I'm having done, if you want to know about it do a serch on the web for it. And as far as you know that you have really bad eye sight, and they say that laser can't fix bad eye sight, the best thing that you can do if goto one of the laser places and have a free evaluation done, then you will know. So I have surgery on May 21 and I can't wait!!
i have been wearing contacts for about 6 years now and i hate it when i am wrestling and one falls out or rolls up ontop of your eye. you cant see from that side and it is a real pain. then tring to find it on the mat. now that is an adventure.
