What mixer do you have?

Please post what mixer you have, i am curious to know what is the most popular.

I tried to list some of the more popular ones, with 4 of each of the big manufacturers. but if you don't see your option, put other, and specify what you have.

ah, damn, i thought about putting that one too.. and i can't edit the options either, only mods can.. oh well.

not a biggie.. I know there are a couple of ppl on this board who use Rane, but i dont remember of anyone else who uses the MM8z though

Next mixer will prob be a vestax 175.

i use the Numark PPD01

I have a Behringer DX 500.

i voted for djm-600

also added 2 new options on poll 4 u john + changed results accordingly

I strongly suggest you don't get the 175, but rather the 275. ask project T about that one if you want to know why. also, take a look at the poll, 275 is the most popular for a reason.

there is a big $ difference in some of those mixers...not everyone can afford a djm600 or xone 32/64 etc...

nah, i won't flame you. but, the purpose of the poll is to know what mixers people HAVE, not what they want. if it was what they want, i'm sure everyone would be filling in DJM600, A&H 464, Rane 2016 Stanton VRM 10 (<-- my personal want) etc.

and there are already tons of threads on what is the best mixer around.

Numark Matrix 3 check

other being Tascam X-9 and my Numark is a backup(not that I'll ever need it, probably should sell the thing, just collecting dust.)

Mine is a gemini bpm 150 but I voted for the bpm 500 since it's pretty close.

added the Tascam X-9 and moved a vote from other to the new category, just as the previous ones

i can add more options to the poll, but only 2 at a time and i cant add votes str8 away to the new options, but its not often there are this many options in all fairness, would prolly take too much scripting to produce a worthwhile end result.

lowdown on 175:
crap paintwork (chips off easily), crap channel faders (knack very easily), crap kill switches (they pop on movement), monitoring system is rather uncustomiseable, but sound quality is really really mint.

how would you compare the sound quality of the DJM600 to the PCV175? hopefully 600 is better, but for sound quality alone, is it worth the extra dosh?

i totally agree with ya there project.. i had a 175 before also...ended up sellin that bugger for my djm600 =) those kill switch popping...really annoying!

hmmm, Tascam X-9 showing 0 votes, how come.

And John, the poll you were looking for was really Vestax 275 vs. others, and Majority of people have other mixers than Vestax 275, regardless it is a good poll and to the MODS I think it should be anchored so that it is always on top and newbies to the board or ones that haven't answered will see the poll right away and respond.

oops, fixed. it ain't gonna be sticky, there is no value to it being sticky and there is enuff stickies already lol.

john, the djm has a much crisper sound to it than the djm, especially at louder volumes, the djm also has much more control of the volume in total aswell and i aint been on a 275 + can't afford 2 come 2 canada just yet

offtopic: get the CDJ1000 'cause right now they have $150.00 rebates on them, so you'll pay just about as much as originally for cdj800.

CDJ 800 also has $100.00 rebate, I think 1000s are better model. jmo
