What is all this bullshit about?

Anyways, good for finding your wallet Tara. Usually they are really nice about ID, especially to girls. My boyfriend is notorious for losing his stuff and he is down to the bare minimum for ID (nothing with a picture) and there is usually not too much of a problem.

I find that that's the best way to go sometimes. I've lost my wallet once, so now when I can, I like to be minimalistic when it comes to carrying around those things.

Aw, that's quite nice of him. If only that would happen in all similar cases... Ah, well. Glad to hear you got it back.

did that a few times specially when i used to travel back and forth but now i keep it out for incase i lose my wallet which pretty much leaves you handicapped for id

Lucky!

My stuff generally tends to get stolen so the chances of anyone returning it are... well nonexistant really...

And of course have i been bothered to replace my stolen id yet? nooooope.
So when i go out in TO i generally have to take my passport with me silly but its too big for me to lose at least... plus once i've shown id it goes straight back in the jacket and straight to coat check. I'm just praying none of those guys ever decide a belgian passport looks good one of these days

yey!!! I'm quite happy about that!

I have a story of a lost wallet that was returned too. I actually lost my wallet when I was on vacation in the Dominican Republic years ago. I think I left it on the bus which took us from the hotel to the airport. Well anyways, the bus driver must have found and gave it to the tour guide person and I received my wallet in the mail from them. That was awesome! Since I was on vacation, I brought a lot more ID with me (ie. citizenship card) to prove that I was actually allowed back into the country. This was a great plus getting my wallet back and the worst part was I lost the wallet for good a few weeks later (sans the important stuff). Since then I never carried a wallet until very recently when I got a huge ass wallet that I can't lose anywhere.

Best advice is not to bring anything important that can't be replaced easily to a club!

I lost my wallet at when we first arrived at iDream. I had managed to drop it while buying tickets from a scalper near the back of the line. After about 5 minutes (totally clueless that I had lost it) in line, the scalper came up to me and said he found the wallet on the ground...and it looked like everything was still in there!!

And if that wasn't enough, Guv security came up to 10 of us (while we were still near the back of the line) and gave us line bypass. They walked us right up to the front and let us in! Has that happened to anybody else???

Posted by charmscars on May-17-2003 04:44:

i remember you telling that!!! only got bits and pieces of it that night (you won't escape my camera this time btw). i *heart* ppl who return wallets and $.
