Omfg: Enter The Matrix Reviews!!!

I just got Enter the Matrix for PS2...and
IT FUCKING ROX MY SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(OFF)

the bullet time focus lets you slow down things to do different moves, dodge bullets, kick ass, or just look coo lwhile fighting normally. There's plenty of guns, and the combat engine is not as advanced as I'd expect, but it still is great!!!!!!!!!!

and I gotta say it..... "WHOA"

Very good game.....I beat it already....ending disappointed me.

How many hours of gameplay and when did you get your copy?

you beat it already? as both characters?

that's the only reservation i had about buyin enter the matrix, how long was the game.

i really don't like dropping 60 bux on a 8-12 hour game with no replayablity.

I find that in the last year about 90% of the endings have been shit.

I work at a video game store and we got it on Tuesday. It took me about 2-3 hours to beat. It isn't that long.

this game was too easy imo , nice graphics etc but if you can finish a game in 1 day it aint worth buyin it.

I bought this game yesterday

I love this game, im playing as Ghost right now, im going to play as Niobe after i beat the game.

Heres my review:

Pros:
-graphics
-characters
-controls
-character movements
-very fun
-cool martial arts moves

Cons:
-you cant play as other characters like trinity or morpheus
-aiming is a bitch, you dont get to aim, which is okay at times.

I bought the pc version cause i was too lazy to download the hole thing,burn 4 cds, and then install it.

I also bought the new PC gamer magazine, which has a half life 2 feature.

so i didn't end up playing the matrix game until i read everything i could find on hl2, and i didn't even feel like playing it after.

I eventually did, and its really fun. I'm just waiting for a level that has a lot of replayablility, i'm only at the vampire level for ghost, cause i was away all weekend...but i'm impressed with the variety of moves you're able to do.

HL 2 sill owns me.

It's similar but it's much better than Max Payne. In the Matrix, you can punch, kick, and even throw enemies. Unlike Max Payne which all you can really do is just shoot, shoot, and shoot. There�s another major noticeable difference between the both games. The Matrix allows you to remain in "bullet time" much longer than in May Payne.

the game is too short, i dont think it was worth to buy imo.

there is a neat secret level too and the hacking feature is neat too.

all i can say is this game blows...


bought the game and it went back...it sucks...rushed game...
the bad things i didnt like about it...
1.the graphics...great 3-d models, bad textures all over....no lighting whats soooo eva thru the game...nothing that competes with todays standard...
2.boring as hell levels...you running thru these levels.and there is like 2 or 3 people....especially the airport level..only the enemies are on screen...like every one died...
3.racing levels looks like Plastation one technology..running at 30 fps...horrible....
4.everyminute there is a cinema....i just fucking wanna play....
5.the running animation for main character sucks...the going up the latter animation sucks..
6.not worth the 50 bucks..maybe for 19 or 25 bucks...

the good this about it..
1.running at 60fps...the main game..which basically shooting and fighting..
2.great animation overall when you figthing...
3.awesome bullet time mode...which is called focus...a meter to slow down time...and you do diff moves when you slow down time..
4.the game its fun........

i think if capcom, konami or squaresoft enix would of done this game it would of been 10x better...

of course its made by shiny entertainment...makers of earthworm jim....they suck now..

Wow no one committed on the hacking feature of the game. I reall y thought that was kewl. There is a lot of stuff you can dig around for with it.

Too bad there isnt more in the hacking part, like the game, it is also short and not too difficult.

All I can say is that if this is a great game it'll be one of the *elite few* that can actually pull of a movie franchise tie-in without being complete ass.

The only games I can think of that are even loosely based on franchises that were any good are Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis and the Tie Fighter games by Lucas.

Beyond that I can't think of *any* movie licenses that have even been *decent* in my 20 years of video gaming.

Edit: Forgot the Star Wars Trilogy for the SNES, also by Lucas...

ETM is one of the worst games of 2003, nuff said!
Max Payne was ALOT better then that piece of crap.

I heard REALLY mixed reviews about that game..ALL in all it's good...but too short plus, not a purchasable game
