How to remove the quartz lock on MK11

Anyone ever carried out this mod? I wanna know how to remove the zero detent and disable the quartz lock. I've seen a number of companies advertizing this mod. As I don't live anywhere near the States, I can't afford to mail my tt's there. just need to know how's its done so I can ask a technician here to do the mod.

Thanks a bunch! I've also seen ppl replace the pop up light with those super bright L.E.Ds. Anyone knows what type of L.E.D is used?
