Boooooooring Muzik!

Hey ppl, I recently brought Trance nation 5. CD1 was ok, but CD2 was shit. The music was booring and didn't go anywhere. Can anyone tell me what sorta music this is?

Tracks like
Xtasia-sweetness
Kamaya painters-wasteland
Tata box inhibitors-freet(trisco mix)

Tata box - inhibitors.. i'd say is like... tech trance - progressive?
i dunno.. i just remember it being on Hooj Choons...

Xstasia - Sweetness... depends on which mix u are talkin about.. but i'd say its progressive trance

Kamaya Painters - wasteland..
original mix is progressive trance
Hitchiker mix would be uplifting trance

I think both CD's of Trance Nation 2001 are crap, CD2 being better than CD1! Nearly all of the tracks on CD1 are Radio Edit length, were dated and overplayed by the compilations time of release. CD2 at least had some newer tracks and some I'd never heard but was very prog but still all the tracks were too short!

That's becase it's like the McDonnalds of Trance compilations. Mass produced for people whilst cramming as many tracks possible.

the original is just trance.. id say maybe uplifting or somethin

what happened to just defining things as trance?
i mean do we really have to call cafe del mar - energy 52 "classic trance?"
and hi-gate "shitty trance?"
etc

i forgot my original reason for coming to this thread, tenaglia epitomizes borrrrring music. im not talking about his trance sets, because ive never heard one

but his GU cds are junk

I don't like the series much but Trance Nation 2 was good bcoz it has all the classix and i like TN3 too as that has some dope tunes.

2 was ok, as was 4

the original was probably one of the greatest double cd trance compilations of all time though. each track a classic

can you believe i bought it, USED??!?!?! 15$ cdn!

Huuuummmm.... thats why is stick to my EUPHORIA series, they lead the way, and always come in front , other labels will follow their style, but never as great..
I do like trance nation 2, trance nation 3 ( well, not that much ) and Trance NAtion 4 was ookay.. but again.. EUPHORIA never disapoints .. most of the time that is :-)
