Blah!!!!
I asked on another forum, but noone is responding....lol.
Anyone elses allergies been really bad this year so far? Mine have been horrible in the past few weeks. I wake up with my eyes glued shut and they get all nasty during the day. Itchy/Watery(slimy).
This is gonna be a long summer =(
I mainly use benadryl. Any other suggestions? cuz there is nothing worse than trying to drive and all of a sudden your eyes get all blurry from watering.
Poor you
Spring allergies suck. I dont really get them, but i get spring fever if there are pollen trees around, which there are zero trees here.
I guess you can see a doctor about your allergies, i dont really know much about it.
YES!!! I use tylenol allergy but that is mostly casue i can get it at the company store real cheap. Maybe you should get claritin or allegra or something.
my last girlfriend had bad allergies, and she said claritin is the best allergy medication, but you have to get a perscription.
This year I have found the cure to common allegies caused by things like pollen, cat and dog hair, dust, trees etc.
It's called MSM. MSM is Methyl Sulphonyl Methane, a form of naturally occurring organic sulphur.
This stuff is amazing, I usually have really bad allergies in the spring. I started taking this stuff a month or two ago (for my cat alleries.. i have a cat) and now I have zero allergy symptoms. Well, my cat still does trigger a slight reaction, but I'm having no problems from pollen at all! It's amazing!
Also I have a really bad allergy to ragweed, so I'm in the process of taking an allergy shot called Pollinex. 4 needles, supposed to help for the fall ragweed.
You should really look into taking MSM supplements, they're not that exensive anyway, and you should find them at your local drug store.
More info on MSM here!
i have found that 10-20 shots of vodka make me feel better (# of shots depend on severity of allergies)

im gonna switch to a diff prescription allergy med
thats what i really hate about spring - tree pollen
I usually have REALLY REALLY REALLY bad allergies. This year, I went to my doctor, and he gave me prescrptions for Allegra-D (twice daily, pill) and something called Rhinocort AC (nasal spray, once daily). They are the most excellent combination, I've felt nothing of my allergies this year. I highly recommend that combo, but you need a prescrption for both. Good Luck!
