I'm just gettin into DJ'ing. Haven't gotten my stuff yet, but this is what i'm looking at:

2 pioneer cdj-1000
1 pioneer DJM-500 pro dj mixer
1 sony mdr-v7000 dj headphones.

The site where i'm gettin my hardware is www.animallshop.com. They have an offer to ship 2 pioneer cdj-1000's for free for only 1475 US dollars. TOO good to believe! Can anyone tell me anything about this site?

Also, a question.....
Would it be better to get speakers and an amp or powered speakers.

I don't know about equipment prices.... but...

Get an amp and speakers for it. Just make sure the amp has the power to power the speakers, and the speakers can take all the amp will dish out.

and I got a question...how much is the mixer?? and how much is the headphones??

I havent actually bought from that guy or his site, but I do recall reading on pioneers forums that he IS an official pioneer retailer.

The weird thing is that he DOES sell on ebay as well as his site, which is supposed to be NOT ALLOWED with Pioneer regulations, so I dunno bro

Go to www.pioneerprodj.com and look around their forums, as there is an official list of authorized dealers.

Also, for that price you're getting B stock. It should be stated straight up. he occasionally has B-stock items on ebay and on his site

And dude, u can get those headphones for cheaper, plenty of places sell it for $100 USD. Look around more or ask the guy from djmart.com
