woah i just came back from this crazy night , the party is still going on as i'm speaking !!

preach our mofo crew representative had a great warm up set specially when he played that Technasia track and then ... Max Graham - Sepia ... OMG i never expected in my life to hear this track live , so good even if it came out in 2001

after preach came SCOTTY BONDYYY !! he opened with 3rd Earth and people were already in a trance !!! hehe great moments , lots of incredible track such as that remix of Madonna - Ray of Light , or Marco V - C:\del*.mp3 :smokin2:

wonderful night i must admit , i had wicked moments with my friends specially when every single one of us were all dancing in front of the booth (they will know themselves) , we still missed silke tho ...

time for some rest later

big big props to all those who made it : malek mazen patrice alec charlie karim kate sean patticus and of course ana-maria and amine ... i hope i'm forgetting no one

Yes you did, I was there, in front of the dj booth too.

Here's my review of the night.

I went to a new club opening that night called "World Beat", the place was nice, the sound was shit, and the crowd, yeah, let's not talk about the crowd cuz there was none lol.

Met up with Patrice, thanks a lot for the tickets man and Nice meeting you.

Went to Aria after meeting up with my friends to see Preach dropping sick tracks one after another. My friends liked him better than Scott Bond actually, I guess I converted them to techno daaaaaaaamn.
Danced for like 1 hour during his set, you gotta love the bass.

Scott Bond comes on, woohoo, I saw him put the 3rd Earth CD-R in the cd player so I ran to the dance floor right away hehe. I loved that track. That was some nice hard trance he played. 3rd earth and the Marco V song are the only ones I could ID. What was that track with the vocals ? I saw Taha singing along so you must know !

Finally met Zing, tho I don't know he even heard my name cuz it was impossible to talk in there. Nice to finally meet you. I also saw Alec, and Malek. I didn't know who any of the other TA's were so sorry if I didn't say hi. I was too into the music.

I left at 5:30 cuz my friends were dead tired, I could've lasted so much longer I had three hours of sleep and I'm still ready to party again lol !

Very nice night, it would've been better with a bit more ppl, the chicks were hoooooooot too. Damn, that was nice to see.

1 red bull = $4
1 bottle of water = $5
A night at Aria = PRICELESS

i'm guesing you don't remember the days where promotors (which shall remain nameless) would charge 5$ for water, or no (or hot) running water near the washrooms. Even if they did have water, they sometimes wouldn't give you tops so you couldn't refill them!

4$ for a redbull is cheap, IIRC you can expect to pay 6-7$ for that in Toronto at a club.

No unfortunately I wasnt there Im still feeling a bit sore from Misttress B. I really wanted to go though and meet you and your friends sounds like last night was sick. I got my ticket for Tiesto and ill be there for sure so hopefully Ill see you then if your going.

n�gative point : his mixing... is "bah" ... not so good
to bad Alec's recording didn't worked.

I spent the most of teh night with our vancouver fellow: Sean, Patticus and Kate. really nice people.

Seeing everybody on the dance floor was cool ! it was like if the club was ours.

I don'T know what to review now.. i think i sad enough.. lol (I'm still asleep)

For sure man, That'll be my next night at Aria, and I can't wait !

And as Zing said, I think it's wiser to meet ppl outside of Aria cuz inside, everyone is more or less deaf lol.

I didn't think his mixing was that bad, but I believe I heard some of his tracks skip ... many times lol !
If there was bad mixing, then I guess the tracklisting made up for it !

i came to montreal as usual on a last minute decision.. was convinced to see steve porter at stereo stayed there for 2 hours it was great!
very nice prog

decided then to go to aria to get more of a kick in the ass!

incredible time.. awesome trance great to see mazen malek fastdjmp3 razoryokes, johnh20 kate dj sean and any other TA's i forgot to mention!.. also who was that guy with you kate the AZN guy with the red shirt? i can tremember his name! very nice guy

i really enjoyed the night, i was in need of good trance to relax from my hard end of session. Marco V - C:\del*.mp3 always sounds good in my headphones, but is 100 times better live!

sorry i had to leave earlier than planned because something happened to my left ear. i'll try to see a doctor tomorrow but i'm pretty sure it's nothing.

Like I said... the sound was too loud
My ears are still ringing and I feel this kind of pressure in my right ear. someone was probably screaming too loud in my right ear

I have to buy earbuds.. I'll be wearing them for every night I go out

OK, that was possibly the best night I've had out at Aria as of yet! Scott Bond is one sick guy, he's the nicest guy I've met! Reasons why!: I asked him if he had the song, crystal clouds by vincent de moor and he said no, but he gave me the gatecrasher resident transmission 02 mixed by himself and matt hardwick. 3 cd set, I'm guessing retails for 40$. So I was quite happy about that, next was during the interview I told him it was for the radio show and he gave me a radio show mix cd that he made. So that was great.
Then I asked him when 3rd earth will be released in N.A. and he said not until July 1st by ID&T but he then gave me a vinyl copy of it, so that was really sweet. I will play it on my next show!

Props to every one that came! It was worth every second. Thanks to Razer Yokes for waiting at Amir for me and then getting me the ticket! Props to all the TA's , esp Malek and Zing for breakfast afterwards!
NOTE FOR JF, there is a bouncer called Markley - Give this guy a raise because he's awesome JF. He's one of the nicest guys out there. He's one of the reasons I came back to Aria, he was joking with me about my AREA 2 shirt! Very Nice GUY!
