Help on fixing headphones
it finally happened, someone broke my sony 700's. they twisted the ear piece all the way around instead of just flipping it. is there any way of fixing this.
lol, when i saw the title of this thread, i knew you had Sony 700s.
sorry, i'd like to help you, but the only thing i can suggest is getting new headphones.
no not really, there is a little plastic groove on each side of those things denoted "L" and "R" 'covers' if you will, and when somebody forces them out of there groove it usually cracks the casing and the headphones are fucked (eventually).. sony makes um like that on purpose i imagine.. there are many ways the design could be improved at that point
Fuckin 700s, mine cracked on me last week too. I'm going to get some new cans this summer, probably pioneer hdj1000s since I like it deafeningly loud when I practice. I'm going to be really careful now to prevent the other side from cracking... I imagine as soon as that happens they're through.
Nothing like a little tape to fix those cracks.
It's all about the ghetto stylez with headphones. haha

i took em apart , not that easy to back together either, and tried superglue. that didnt work tomorrow im putting J D weld on it, i hope that works. I'll let you know how it holds.
I fixed my Koss headphones with black electrical tape. Beats the masking tape I had on there before.
