Just got back from seeing The Crystal Method!
The Crystal Method were spinning lakeside (i.e. outdoors) at Northwestern University tonight and they were awesome! Cool lighting effects and great tracks. Their 90 minute set opened with "Dylan Rhymes vs Force Mass Motion - Vanquished" and closed with "The Crystal Method - Keep Hope Alive" (with fireworks in the background). They played mostly breaks stuff, but also played some White Stripes, Nirvana, and AC/DC, which all complemented the set nicely. They also debuted a new track by them, but I forget the name of it; it was pretty good though (someone out there has the vinyl because he tossed it into the crowd after the show). I even got to talk to Scott Kirkland afterwards, which was cool. All in all it was a great show. Definitely recommended.
P.S. They also played a song that talked about American Gladiators and the government controlling peoples' lives and the "chorus" was "We... want. your. soul"; anybody know the name of the tune (I forgot to ask Scott
)?
yea i like them live too

Did they play remixes of AC/DC/White Stripes/Nirvana songs? Or did they just mix into the set? Cuz that's pretty cool.
