Is anyone going to see Tiesto in Calgary?

Just wondering if there is any TA's in the Calgary area. I'm in Banff for the summer and I'm htinking about hitching down to Calgary to check out Tiesto on June 4th. Im not sure if any of my friends here are going to be able to make it. I don't mind going alone, but just wanted to see if there would be any TA's will be there in attendance and what their plans for the evening are.

Even if I do end up making it with a couple of friends, I wouldnt mind meeting up with some Calgary locals.

but just by chance I booked cirque de Soleil tix for opening night, which happens to be june 4 as well.
so ill be there later. dont quite know when yet.

I'll be there, I'm going with nobody so basically I'm going to be at the bar the intire time

the calgary ta crew will probably be out in full effect

i'll mosty likely be in attendance, unless i die in some bizarre gardening accident

j-spot... i don't know if you remember me, i met you at the pvd gig in calgary. I was the funny looking girl with the pure PVD sign. I recall you having a vip pass to get up there to see pvd, and i hear about your rep as being a dj whore, so i thought you might know how i would be able to score a vip pass for the b/f and i for tiesto if infact it will be the same setup at the whiskey?

but about VIP, and how whiskey is going to be set up, I dont know. It worked really well for PvD, so I cant see why they wouldnt do it again. And if they do, well then. Ill see what I can do for most of you Nobody gets promised anything, because well, im not promised anything myself.

add one from Savage(already got her) tomororw, Ayla on sunday if I get lucky and then Tiesto for the 4th time.

nobody actually gets a VIP pass...If its set up that way..ill see if I can get you past.
For PvD I didnt have a pass...so once I was up there I was kinda stuck. I couldnt get back in. No garauntees on anything.

and I think the sign will have something to do w/ Skin
but im not sure about that.
let him know we know whats up w/ his new productions

was this a general message or for someone in particular? I still don't understand how you got up there to see pvd, you must have some serious skillz. All i know is that i am crazy about tiesto and i am hellbent on trying to get an autograph!

Anybody looking for a cheap Tiesto ticket?

my rules to getting an Autograph.

1) have something you want signed
2) have a Marker. Fine point Sharpie is the best. Chisel tip confuses them
3) hang around the DJ booth from about 2:30 on, maybe even earlier.
4) figure out how they are going to get the DJ out of there. Stand on his exit path.
5) dont be afraid to be a little bit pushy with the rest of the crowd.
6) Ignore the bouncers telling you to leave, but dont be hostile.


I do all that..and it has worked everytime that Ive tried. so either im that good, or its just that easy.

You can try to follow my rules, but dont be surprised if you get an elbow to the face from me.

Oh! so it's going to be like that is it? just kidding. Jez and i already followed that pattern of sucess at pvd in calgary and remember my sign? i got it autographed! And jez got his vinyl cover signed and we got a few words with paul and he took our camera and took a picture of the three of us! Not bad, eh? Persistance pays off... the bouncers started giving us a hard time and paul said "Easy, easy!" and motioned them away. So my pvd experience was AWESOME! if i had a scanner i would scan the picture and post it but i have to admit, we look like the ultimate starcrazed fans... anyhow, thanks for the tip and see you at the backdoor!

PS- did i mention that jez and i are flying to vancouver after the show to see him again on saturday?!

why wouldnt you just drive to edmonton to see him there?
and THEN fly to Vancouver.
bring the same object to get signed all 3 times. show you are a real trooper!

can't afford all three! the scene in vancouver is going to be good and we have a few days to chill out there before the show. I guess only the ultimate hardcore would have done all three and maybe someday i will achieve that status...

PS- i've never even been to edmonton... why start now?

Just out of speculation, I think he'll play:
Beautiful Things, Nyana, Sincere, Barbers Adagio (Tiesto mix), Venus, Tears from the moon (Tiesto mix), North Pole etc

Needless to say, I'll be using my TUNE! sign quite abit tonight.
