Kuffdam vs DJ Money ???
Ok, theres been alot of talk about this (especially in #UKTA) and basically 99% of people are apposed to the idea of having 1 person who rarely posts at all on TA or visits chat playing back to back with an unregistered person at the UKTA night.
We decided we'd make a poll to let people decide.
Kuffdam vs DJ Money (who??) should they play at the UKTA night??
with all due respect to the guys, this is a ukta night, and I thought apart from o'bir as was, or whoever we get in, it should be the guys playing, and that's what I'd rather see
Yeh i agree that it should be ukta's and i'd rather see more but i think the main problem for everyone is actually looking at the lineup and going money who?????

i thought the point in the UKTA night was to get everyone together and have a great laugh and enjoy the night whilst UKTAs showcased their talents by spinning! kuff is a UKTA but hes hardly ever in chat etc.
i dont think its fair that people who are on all the time dont get to spin! i reckon that gibbo and george should spin back to back as they are always on the site or in chat, yet they havent got a slot!

Its simple... its no problem not to play....
Neo offered so the people planning this can sort out with who you want to play at your event. If you have the cash to book someone the just go for it, its no skin off my nose.
I simply offered to play since Mr Obir decided that unless there was cash involved he would no longet be willing to do it for you....
Feel free as of this moment to sort out your new lineup...

Obviously i have missed all the fun and games in the #ukta channel, wot a shame. Anyway from an outsiders point of view this looks like a total mess.
It seems that as soon as money and a chance to showcase yr talents is involved everyone starts arguying, Its a shame that when we all should be puling together to organise things suddenly we all start arguing between each other.
Firstly it is a massive shame that o'bir cant do it. However u would have had no problems with him doing a set, even though he rarely posts here anymore. Nothing against u jon, your obviously very busy now, and u dont have the time to post.
Anyway there was also talk about goldenscan being part of the line up, not sure if he is. But i cant remember ever seeing him post on here.
Kuffy has been part of this forum for a lot longer than a few people who have stated their view on the matter. As i say, its a shame that people feel they need to pull rank.
This night has to be good and then we have a chance at future nights, and then money being involved. We need top DJ's and as most of you know, kuffy is developing into a top DJ.
So i think we need semi pro DJ's in the line up. And not more bedroom DJs.
I have heard a lot of you spin, and most are very tallented, but it is not easy to go from yr bedroom to a big club. And i think we need that expereince in the line up.
God only knows wot will happen if this idea is a success and we go forward to make money out of it. I just hope all money is reinvested.
I very much doubt we could all agree and eventually start a company running club nights. Which could be a potential outcome if we do arrange a few succesful nights.
Most people seem to be loosing sight of the whole point, make this one night a success, and then future nights will be made for more ukta's to spin.
I hope this gets sorted out. Coz the arguing amongst us is getting stupid.

kuff is alright and that, but he doesnt really post in here or go in chat so i was a bit baffled as to why you guys wanted to use him?
same with O Bir - he aint really a UKTA is he, fair doos hes a resi for a mint club but still didnt make much sense to me?
anyways i aint really invloved with all the organising and that so i may as well shut up

I simply submitted my name like all the other UKTA people at the start with an offer to play.... Since then people have dropped out left right and centre.... The date has been put back and back and back.....
Now suddenly I am supposed to be playing last and you decide to rip into me.... What the fuck is that all about?
And as for me being on here often? I am here as and when I can be..

Oh yeah and last thing on this
I certainly wouldnt expect this nor would I ever consider sending this kind of thing to any of you UKTA asiring DJ's out there....

We haven't had chance to talk to neo about this yet, so i dunno what he's told you, but basically.. all the ukta's have unanamously decided that you are utter wank, and we've never even heard of your mate with the gay dj name.
Please do not attempt to mix at our night, you will be restrained and led away from the booth.

Well this poll is a joke anyway.
Come on, its like all other polls on this forum. A popularity contest and also non uktas can vote, as well as ukta's who are not fuly aware about any of the goings on of the night.
At the end of the day peoples votes will be from miss informed sources or just plain biased ones.
There is no point making a vote. It would be better if we could have setup a ukta night forum for people organising it, and then only people who are properly informed can ovte.
However this was attempted by dave a while ago, and didnt get anywhere. It was actually a pretty good idea. But anyway it seems the larger the ukta group gets the more we disagree and argue amongst ourselves.
Now neo has no bias, he has seen kuffy mix, and im pretty sure if kuffy was wank neo would not have him in the line up.
You forget Neo has put a lot of work into this, and this silly, lets face it, immature arguing, if it was me would piss me off.
So you say this vote is unanamous, well i think its far from it. People agree with others who are in their group, and support them.
And please download a set from kuffy's site. I have downloaded a few from over the last year. And i assure u he spins decent sets.
But any non uk tranceaddict lookin at this post will just think we cant agree on anything, and are approaching this like amateurs.
