Triple J sets
hello TA's,
i'm new here
was wondering if anyone knows how often Triple J have nice long sets like the Transmission Sets waXology provided to the community.
I have a soundcard with an FM tuner which has software that can record the radio to wav so i was thinking i would like to record some of the stuff myself (i heard a bit one night, was kick arse)
what i was thinking is that i could record, encode and share it
although i may need to buy another HDD for the big Wav's
anyone interested?
i'm on dial-up so distribution will have to be something other than web transferring
WuZ.
JJJ always have mixup every saturday but they are notoriously hit and miss ie every month or two one set worth listening to is on. The transmission broadcasts are a special thing they do just for that party I think.
They have been getting a new show 'the club' going lately but I've heard too much elctro and tech to bother.
Oh and Nicole Fossati is an annoying bitch.

She hosts mixup and the club when Chris Fraser is doing other stuff. She did a lot of work on Alchemy on SBS too.
I'm pretty sure that was her MCing on the transmission sets broadcast.
ahhh
On that note did anyone acturally record transmission on Mixup the other week end??
wouldnt triple j have a website which listed what was coming up?
rather than recording everything or nothing you could see whats worth the trouble and whats not?
