For all of you Political forum veterans...where the hell did Shlomo go? Remember him? I used to love arguing with him! anybody know where he went???!!!!

Pretty sure he got banned. Yea, the good old days were fun (maybe interesting is a better word) when Tiesto14 and Shlomo were flaming everyone left and right. Talk about debating!

Yes Tiesto14 has been permenantly banned. I think Shlomo is probably only on a temporary ban since he didn't have quite as many infractions. At any rate there was a brief vote/appeal to bring tiesto14 back in the NY forum. I voted yes to make things more interesting for the brief month or two he was back before he got banned again

Last I heard a while ago, Shlomo was perm banned. Unless someone wants to unban him I think we won't be seeing any more of him!

It really is kind of funny since twain was somewhat prejudiced against Jews. But in Twain's defense I wouldn't label him anti-semitic (anti-semitic in the 1800s sense). I would imagine that 99.9% of the population was prejudiced at the very least at that time period. More often than not the majority was probably downright hostile and resentful.

It's too bad Tiesto14 isn't allowed back. He spoke his peace and got banned for it. He was fed up with the majority of this board, and their bias views. Mods instead of working impartially, decide to abuse their privileges and "punish" the one's whose opinions they oppose. So now we're going to limit the opposing voice to a minimum... so we could out flame them and show everyone that "our view is better".

I'm also sick of arguing with some of you... but what else am I going to do at 2am blitzed off my ass
blah blah blah, fuck you all and die... lates!

yeah, tiesto14 was great. he was one of my favorite TAs actually, his posts always had me cracking up. and he's probably one of the only ones who knows my old username. (yeah, i've been here a lot longer than it shows, pathetic eh?)

as for you melech_mike.. your a few posts away from being the next shlomo. your sig is... too big, can you at least make the size smaller or something?

My views and idealism's are different than those of Sholomo. I've had talks with him in private and I must say I disagree on a lot of opinions he holds.

JohnSmith, I feel that your posts are too one sided and that you don't even take an objective look at the issues that arise. You read one or two sources (probably the guardian and BBC) regarding Israel, which satisfy your leftist ideology, and come posting here as if you're well educated on the issue at hand. There is whole other world out there, don't be so naive as to think your tree hugging mentality could solve all problems. Look at the bigger picture my little friend.

Do you rather I just not post and you have even less of an opposing voice on this board?

i think before making bold all-knowing statements like that you would need to actually know what happened with tiesto14.

you do not.

we do not 'punish' those who oppose our veiws. we ban people for the good of the forum. our own veiws do not come into it when we make that decision.

tiesto14 was not banned as such for his posts and flames in here.. but more for the posts and flames where they were not called for in the other sections of this forum (yes mike.. there are other sections) like music discussion, and the chillout room. everytime someone posted something he disagreed with he would flame etc etc. THIS is one of the reasons he was banned.
