Tiesto said it most likely won't be released. The only way we'll find it on vinyl is if we find it on white label somewhere, like they did with the Avril levigne song.

Yeah it won't come out..
Maybe someone will be able to find a vinyl...but no way..
Why tiesto doesn't want to release the remix?

tiesto is turning into a more creative person. all he really did was make an edit for the concert opening. just like markus schulz and pvd do, so do tons of others.

hm but if 1000s of people love it he could release it

Posted by Ghostface on Sep-08-2003 06:49:

He should release it if he's allowed to. I like it better than the corsten mix.

Blackhole is such a shitty record label when it comes to releasing stuff on time.

This isn't going to be released. EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP, its over, admit it, just face reality, THERE WON'T BE A TIESTO REMIX RELEASED!

you work for blackhole?

Posted by euphoria@aus on Sep-09-2003 05:45:

heh interesting story with this tune

if you go to [only-dj's] and search for william orbit you will get some interesting results.

and if you scour the internet in search of tiesto interviews you might come across this [interview] where tiesto states:

"Tisto: I dont think it will ever be released, I just made it for myself to play out because its one of my favourite classical songs."

So there you go 2 conflicting situations, i wonder if ppl that ordered their Adagio for Strings vinyl will ever get it. So far it doesnt seem like it.

Posted by popop on Sep-09-2003 22:55:

Its quite simple

Who owns the rights to the samples / song ?
Will they allow tiesto to licence or whatever it called when u pay someone to use a sample ?
Will tiesto either be bothered to pay just so a few TA's can have a copy ?
Will it be commercialy viable ie will the cost of producing it balance out twith the amount of copies to be sold ?

The answer is simply no, to much hassle, the guy just wants his own special mix no one else has. he's too busy to start the whole shitty process of releasing it.

its gonna be forgotten about anyway

Thumbs up

I recently found Barber's Adagio for strings on cd single which included the Ferry Corsten remix as well as the original version. Is this single rare????? enough for me to pick up?????

Posted by farley on Sep-10-2003 06:28:

I need this tune bad on vinyl! Hearing it live is absolutely insane

The good thing about it is it's much more playable in a set than Ferry's is...

Posted by Zombie14 on Sep-12-2003 12:11:

release date on only-djs.com was bumped from 9/1 to 11/1...
