King

Oh my god! Here I am listening to this track and getting well into it, then at 2'25 it breaks down and blows my friggin mind!!!
That piano... and it keeps going on from there really...

The lead, the breakbeat part, everything just makes me wanna cry!

Anyway, I love how you've used that piano line Nic. I tend to only use Pianos in my breakdowns such as in the original. But this sounds great.

Another thing I really like is the buildup, very nicely done. The percussion is also nice, especially with the breaks.

The track's only weakness is the bassline, that kinda sounds a bit weak. I think if you changed that it'd make a huge difference!

very nice remix though, thanks for doing it

and Pumaz: glad you like it

good job nic!! as said before, the build up is awesome and the piano is lovely! the bassline doesnt sound weak at all on my radio or headphones, i actually think its good cant think of anything to improve if so ill let ya know on msn
very good remix! keep it up,

john

Thanks Pumaz, John, and S2K! Yeah, i decided to try something new for the bass, and i thought it turned out ok, but eh. Thanks for the great feedback! keep it comin!

Quite a nice remix mate! I love its softiness... Makes me wanna dream Perhaps some synths might be clearer, but it's good the way it is now, it suits the track.

Keep at it

oh hey yeah I listened to it and the other track - very nice production - you have a skill at making very dreamy string/piano combos. I could use a lesson or two from you.

I've really got nothing to suggest, it's all great!

@DJMikeyP - thanks man. i can't wait to hear your next productions!

@artic - you listened to Mind Twist? lol, nothin like some old school psy. thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it (and mind twist)!

Posted by arctic on Jun-06-2003 05:39:

lol, i got mind twist when you posted the thread ages ago, but was so busy i never got a chance to reply, and when i did, it was too late.

I have been meanign to ask you something about mind twist actually.
What synth did you use for the 303 sort of sound that comes in at 4:57 or so. It's really addictive...also, when did you use for the bass?

Well done with both tracks once again, ive been playing them quite a bit

Posted by nic01445 on Jun-06-2003 06:03:

thanks artic ill pm you about Mind Twist

WOW! must be played loud to be appreciated!\

fuck nic, this is like your Suspicious Blue remix mixed with Landscape and Lifted, and all the best of them.

i said "damn" when i heard the build. the build is amazin'. the piano is purdy too.

the synth that comes in at like 1:05 is kind of weak, but besides that, killer.

might be my favorite tune from you. either this or Suspicious Blue remix.
