Best Down-Tempo Song of All Time?

I am interested in what people think is their favorite down-tempo (chilled) song's of all time?

Few of mine in order-
1) Lamb - Gorecki
2) Chicane - Saltwater (Thrillseekers Remix)
3) Craig Armstrong - Balcony Scene <------ Very pretty and mellow!
4) Bush - Letting The Cables Sleep (The N.O.W. Remix)

I'm saying "Nobody's Home" as well.

I'm lucky that I live not far from Pelicaneck www.boomkat.com , which is CCO's UK office, so I don't have any problems finding stuff

Well, new releases that is. Casino vs Japan - Go Hawaii was a little harder to get hold of.

Check out his remix of I'm Not A Gun (samples on the site above).

This blew my mind for the whole summer of 2000.

Check out the Caf Del Mar Collections. Tons of good chill out tracks.

I'm definitely going to check out "Nobody's Home".

My current favorites are :

Bedrock - Beautiful Strange
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Solar Stone Chill Out Mix)
Junk Project - Composure

Air - All i Need

Ulrich Schnauss sounds like something I'm going to have to buy.

There are so many records and there is so little money.

You'll find it's quite different to the tunes you list. They are just slowed down trance with no drums, Ulrich is a totally different listening experience.

An infinately finer one too, I might add.

Oh ok. Is it more similar in style to DJ Tiesto feat. Jan Johnston - Close to You?

ahh! someone with taste!

mono - playboys

is also quite nice.

but it seems like a lot of people aren't too familiar with downtempo. no matter what, a chillout or ambient mix of a trance track won't have the same feel as a melody that was originally intended to be that way.

if anyone wants to hear some tracks like those, then i suggest

balligomingo - escape
balligomingo - heat
decoder - tablarama
darkhalo makes quite a few nice tracks as well.
halou - breathe
mandalay - this life [wagon christ remix]
john kaizan neptune - golden lotus
komakino - frogs in space

lori carson and graeme revell - fall in the light <-- probably one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. everyone's got a tune that affects them in such a way that they can't put it into words, so i'll trust you all to understand

anyways, enjoy.

York - Reachers of Civilization
Junk Project - Composure
Bedrock- Beatiful Strange
Accadia - Into the dawn(ambient)

acoustic hoods - cycles of time

i would love to have this on vinyl. if anyone has a copy and is willing to part with it please contact me
