for long lasting spikes use dax. or a combiniation of soap, then dax. or even just a strong spiking gel like the loreal ones.

you need to wash it with baby oil - it comes right out

rub a hand full of baby oil onto your head - then wash out with a decent shampoo - when it's dry all the Dax will be gone.

I always used to use soap and then top it up with a tiny bit of Dax on the tip of the spikes... that way, it washes out easy as fcuk

Dont wet yout hair first otherwise u will never get it out.

Posted by Ste on Jun-07-2003 11:59:

for the twisty spikes i used to just user shitloads of bog standard cheapo gel, you knwo the stuff which is a bit like jelly. just enuf so the hair was well much the consistancy of the gel, the comb the hair into a chequered pattern then twist the into spikes

for my normal hair i jsut wet my hair a tad and use a small amount of garnier fructis spiking gel. then jsut ruffle my hands thru my hair for a second and its done

ok..so let me get this straight..I get my hair wet, partition is off, twist it up with a bunch of Dax

and then paint it with what???????
how to you get the blacklight UV hair colours?
dulux gloss? Is that the only product?

and what do you mean by soap? like a bar of soap(zest, ivory etc)
or some liquid soap?

Dulux is a brand of paint used for painting walls etc. Ian was just trying to be funny. And by soap, u get a bar of soap, slightly wet hands, and rub the soap so u get lots of foam in ur hands, then apply this to ur hair. It makes ur hair go rock hard when it dries.

u can normall find coloured hair sprays in most shops which sell things like hair care/body stuff.

for the tips i always use normal water based acrylic paint, coz then at the end of the night u can pick it out in one piece. same for the face although you 3want neon colours to uv react

im going to have to try this before I actually go out

night of will come around ill try to do it up and end up painting myself like an amazon warrior...
