hey Psy-T

there are two things you can do...

first of all, you can splitt the file into two pieces with Winrar or something (make it smaller than 10)

also you can use www.iuma.com to host your tunes

Posted by extalin on Jun-08-2003 19:03:

i use web1000 and ill let you know it sucks really bad for hosting files. believe me, you want to find another host.

Posted by DJMikeyP on Jun-08-2003 21:33:

why don't you just go with soundclick.com

Posted by unclejunior on Jun-09-2003 07:55:

i have to agree with floster, i use iuma myself. it takes a few days to get set up, but its worth it, uploads are easy and quick, and you get yourname.iuma.com as a web page. all for free. not too shabby.

thanks for the help guys
i decided to sign up about 5 more webhosts......LOL

maybe one of them will work

tried the link again, seems to be working...

yup got it, listening now...

like the intro, cool sounds here, percussion coming in nicely. i really dig the percussion that comes in about the 2 min mark, especially when the kick and snare come in. but then it seems to drag until 4:23 or so. i like the melody, but the sounds are a little too distorted IMO. 5:28, again, that percussion is really awesome, but after a while its kind of repetative, i would try building on it, maybe with some other ethnic kind of drums.

sounds good, just a little empty in a few spots IMO.

thanks for the review uncle

and btw, i aimed for that dirty distorted sound (i just love the new distortion unit in reason)

well, if you were aimin for it, you got it.

which distortion, the D11? (i dont have 2.5 going yet) i like it too, i put all the percusion (except the kicks) in my new track through it, sounds pretty cool.

Posted by burns on Jun-09-2003 11:35:

I would change your Bass Drum, sounds very hollow, like the hole in the middle effect, doesnt give the percussion enough push.

Intro is awesome, love the pads.

Infact the wholetrack is great, add maybee one or two more elements, chnage that kick, and your dancing !

Posted by allstar on Jun-09-2003 16:10:

Nice track. Percussion is excellent. The intro was great. It does need a few more elements to it though. Keep it up!

Really loving the pads and percussion in the into. Very creative. Oh man i really dig those distorted beats. Yeah, a new kick is definitely in order You need a lot more effects man. I think some more layering of the hihats would help also. this track has some groove to it, which is nice for psy. Watch those distorted sounds, they kinda get all mushed together if you have too many going on at once. Good work. 8/10

Suggestions are welcome

it looks like that link is broken, but I downloaded the other link - very very rhythmic I like it!!! How the hell do you all come up with these little beeps and such that sound so much like trance. My shit sounds cheezy in comparison

very cool beats, kinda agree with burnski on the kick.
i like the hints of melody there too, and the pads
good work

Posted by DJMikeyP on Jun-16-2003 00:52:

I don't know why but I like the first one better - maybe because its more raw or distorted... I like focusing on the whippy sounds too - they're cool.

How did you do this dude? Did you have only the drums' reverb in the beginning or something?
