Question Problems exporting with fruityloops......

I seem to have this problem when it comes to exporting Wav and Mp3 files in Fruityloops 3.56, where the melodies don't export correctly. Sometimes the notes are out of place or changed completely, sometimes the volume is so loud it sounds as if my speakers are about to blow. It's just odd basically. The problem only affects the external plugins im using. Namely Z3ta+ 1.0 and Pro53.

I've played around with all the combinations of export settings there are but its always the same. I've scoured the help file, but to no avail. Strangely if i export the troublesome melody in pattern mode it sounds fine. I even tried putting my pads and lead into the one pattern and exporting that, again it sounded fine. Yet this exact same bit, identical apart from the beats before and after it, sounds awefull when exported in song mode (well, the pads fine but the arp over the top is painfull).

It looks like i'm gonna have to export (how many times have i said "export" this post?) my melodies then use 'em in the tune as one long sample, which i'd rather not.

If anyones encountered this problem or if i've missed something stupidly obvious please help me out.

hmmmm.... that sounds like a mystery to me...never had anything like that...don't know what to say sorry. i guess when it comes down to it...try and reinstall the plugins???

Cool

right i have 3 possible solutions...

a. make sure hq plugin support is on in the rendering window

b. if that dont werk, make sure the troublesome synth is in an fx channel of it's own, then export to wave as seperate fx channels + put them all together in acid or cubase, i do this is standard practise now anyway to master each element individually

c. reinstall the plugin and maybe even fruity, if you are using 4, u may wanna try using 3.56 to see if that works

I have a same sort of problem. My main melody is made by using two separate ts404 that have been tweaked differently. In fruity everything sounds as it should, but when I export the file it seems as if the ts404s were tuned horribly wrong, like you know how piano sounds when it's been in a garage for 20 years... It completely ruins the song, and I'm loosing hair trying to figure out what the hell is the matter with it...

i believe the problem lies withint pro53 z3ta+
iv noticed it myself, especially with pro53, that it misses out some notes then exporting.

havent found a way to stop it from happening though.

export with tiny slices off if its on and it might work.

I've tried all the tips here, and no luck. Thanks for your help

When i was searching the forums for possible previous threads on the same subjuct i found a post by someone (maybe Rob) detailing how he basically mastered his tunes. It was pretty much just exporting each audio channel (right terminology?) seperately then compiling them all in a program like acid with their own effects applied (just like Project T stated).

Sounds like the sensible thing to do for best sound quality so i reckon i'll just do this (maybe i should've been doing this from the start).

Cheers for the help

1) Don't use the DX version of Pro-53
2) Don't use the arpeggiator function in Z3TA+

I was using the DX version of pro53, and I was using the arpeggiator in Z3ta

Cool

the zeta+ arpeggiator is rather shit seeing as the synth is designed to mainly ba an arpeggiating synth, imo arpeggio's are too random, mite aswell just write your own melody in an arpeggio fashion to get complete control
