Hydra - Affinity [Halcyon's Pacific Remix]

Hey ppl

I have recently finished a remix of Hydra -Affinity, while trying to hold the remix down on the chilled progressive house side.

Please try to give some constructive feedback

the kick is kinda empty, maybe a reverb will do the trick.
on the other hand, the clap thingy is overreverbed...

there's some sturdy flow of the chill out groove which is great

i dont really like the bass, have you thought of changing its wave from saw to pulsewidth or square?

the first sound to come after the break is really sweet & beautiful

and the combo of the piano with the guitar is awesome (did they use it in the original?)

good work overall, just please do something about the bass

this is an awesome chillin' tune...I really like it, it is like a mixture of robert miles and planisphere ...

perhaps you should add some silent fx noises and some little additional tracks ( silent arpeggiator in the background ) to make it sound more full and professional...

very good variation on the original

it;'s good to see that there are original idea out there - rather than whole barrage of trance remixes of a trance tune.

maybe my only negative comment would be the overall sound when it comes to the melody section is a little thin.
I'm going to listen again later - and i might write something else - don't give up - you have vision, which IMO is most important

Thanks for the reviews

Will work a bit more on it, I agree it needs some more elements in order to be professional
