Similar melody?

I think the melody in Armin's 'Song for the Ocean' sounds a tad similar to Schiller's 'Ein Schoner Tag' Anyone else notice that yet?
Not that it diminishes the beauty of Armin's song.....just an obervation from me.

And yes, I'm a n00b, as you put it This's my first post, actually.

not sure if u are talking about the vocal in 'ein schoner tag' (i'll have to take a listen to the armin song later) but the vocal from the former song is sampled from Puccini's opera "Madame Butterfly". that may be why the songs are similar (assuming u are even talking about the vocal.....if not, my bad. i'll delete this post when i get a chance to listen to the armin song )
