Whose behind Magik Muzik?

Veit - Sky (Magik Muzik Remix) <-- Quality tuneage, probably one of the best of 2002

Andain - Beautiful Things (Magik Muzik Remix) <-- Been discussed on the forums recently, haven't heard it yet but it will probably be amazing!

So my question is, is whose behind Magik Muzik? What other songs have they remixed?

Pareez

i remember reading in the alias list thread that he's 'behind magik muzik'...

it could be like a Vandit Club Mix deal,
where some artists from vandit are behind the mixes [could it?]
except, in this case, it's blackhole.

its def not tij. Its 2 guys (i think its 2 anyway. possibly more). Im not sure of there names either, and as far as im aware they dont come under anymore aliases. the label Magik Muzik and the Artist Magik Muzik are 2 seperate things. Tiesto is apart of the label Magik Muzik. Thats where the confusion arises. And the artists under Magik Muzik are not related to Magik Muzik the group.

that gets messy

Ever wonder why some remixes say..... DJ Tiesto's Magik Muzik Remix?

You do the math.

The two guys in question are Geert Huinink and Alco Lammers. They do have a few other aliases such as Dawnseekers, Twenty-Something, Photon Project, Geert Huinink & Alco Rhythm, 2 Souls, Threesome (w. Cor Fijneman) etc., and Huinink produces alone under his own name as well as under Modus Operandi, Headstrong, etc. I can't think of any other aliases off the top of my head but you get the idea. It's possible that other Black-Hole people (Fijneman or DJ Dazzle maybe) could have been involved in production of certain remixes to a lesser degree but it would be accurate to say that Huinink and Lammers are Magik Muzik.

And for the record, there was no Magik Muzik remix of Voyage; that was a Magikal Remake (by Tiesto). This all makes for a very confusing situation that isn't helped by the fact that, on occasion, apparent Tiesto productions were in fact not done by him. Svenson & Gielen - We Know What You Did (Tiesto Remix) was produced by Geert Huinink, despite the latter not getting any credit for it. Confusing indeed.

Hehe. You're my hero.

I couldn't remember their names, but yet they are brilliant.

gothic dream, twister, sugar rush, klea tic toc (magik muzik remix), etc....

AS good or better producers than tiesto....

HUH ? thats the most stupid thing i have read latley. First of all Yahel is an IL artist, and he made Voyage together with Eyal Barkan. Nothing to do with tiesto at all. Tiesto as many others, decided to remix this wonderful piece of work .
Anyway, i think Magik Muzik are some guys from the UK, but im not sure. and Dreamcatcher, hell its not tiesto.

no, Gert and Alco are definitely Dutch. Didn't you read the long post before?

trance.nu and other places had spread the fake news that Tiesto was behind the Magik Muzik remixes. There was a huge controversy about this about 6 months ago because people believed he had worked on some of the MM remixes, and it ended when I emailed Tijs himself and he said he had absolutely nothing to do with them.

NO NO NO! Tiesto didn't do ANY of the Magik Muzik remixes. They might sound Tiestoish, but he didn't collaborate in any of these productions. This has been confirmed by Tijs himself.

Geert and Tijs also gave us The Roc Project - Never (Tiesto Remix)

Geert's gotta be one of the most underappreciated people out there
