The best way to learn about computers from my experience is just playing around, i have broken a lot of computers, but i have fixed them as well. And i have learnt most of what i know from that.

Networking is a bitch, and can be a nightmare to setup. But as for java, html, and My SQL well there are guides all over the net to how to turn yourself into a pro

mySQL + php = really good combo.

just do a search in google.
if you are really serious, go get a php/mySQL book.

WHAT?? NO MYSQL FOR DUMMIES v.7.0????

Really where you should start depends on how much you know now and what areas you want knowledge in.

Programing:
start out with fortan/cobol/basic this will teach you basic procedural oriented programing (pop).

then move onto C++/Java/C# I would sugest that you start with C++. C++ is called the true father of object oriented programing(oop).

next you will want to get a little crazy get into some low level C and asssembly. I would sugest x86(intel pre pentium) assembly. This will teach you low level programing execution.

Web design:
Start with html to learn the basics of web layout and design.

next move into java script/php some programing experince will help here.

finally you would want to start on MYSQL. I said start since no one trully ever masters the SQL protocol.

You should check out the O'Reilly line of books very good refrence manuals.

And please dont call yourself a pro after you have read a few online articles. You have a foundation to start from but you are far from a pro.

Fucken hell do you not know how to use google? :P

If you want to learn about MySQL, do a google search for 'mysql tutorial' or 'sql tutorial'... sql is pretty simple so it should be too hard to pick up.

If you want to learn programming and know nothing about it start with a BASIC or Pascal tutorial, theyre probably the best languages for learning but not so good for practical aplications.

If you want to learn about networking, search on google for the 'osi reference model', if you want to learn about how the internet specifically works, look for info on TCP/IP networking...

in short people... RTFM
