Their service is excellent, and they ship within 1 or days, as all stock is on the premisis. Their packaging is great quality too. All in all a good service.

Well since you are in the US, it might be better to shop at a store here in the US.

try:
http://www.satelliterecords.com/

Or my favorite!!!:
http://www.planetxusa.com/

Just do me a favor and stay far away from http://www.htfr.com/ aka Hard-To-Find Records. They have unbarably slow shipping and have thus far screwed up 2 out of my 2 orders....and dont plan on fixing them. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

Shame / Disagreement

Don't order from 8ball records NYC either. Their online ordering really sucks. Especially for canadian orders. I order'd 4 records so I didn't totally get killed on shipping. But when I recieved my order all I got was 2 records. So basically I payed well over $35 per record!! I could have bought the same records here in canada for $15 but I decided to try online ordering.

two dutch sites, but I believe they're in english too (ma b/f is very satisfied about them):

www.dancegrooves.com and www.only-djs.com (dunno if that's the right link though)

Exclamation

www.decks-records.com fucking RULZ. i love that site... thats usually were i go for updates on trance, it just sux they dont ship outside of europe ....sattalite records is alright also, im going to check out this juno site or whatever, ordering off the internet is all i can do to get vynils down here, there are no rave/trance/vynil shops down here ...and if you do find ANY ( meaning perhaps a selection of like 1-15 vynils) ...there each like 13 american dollars.

Sneaker Pimp vinyl online

I've bought from Juno before and got great service and fast shipment of my tunes. Plus, their selection is so cheap that it costs around the same price as buying here in the states (like 10-11 bucks per record) and Juno has a great selection.

Question

I have a question, when you buy a vinyl Trance record, do you only get one song, or all the possible remixes, or just some remixes? And how can you find out?

Also: why is it so expensive (like $10) -- is it because of the import? One would think that 2-3 mixes of a song should be like around three bucks or something...

Posted by SYNthSRI on Jul-23-2001 01:47:

ugh..all the sitez mentioned are so sh*tty in navigation and their inventory has around 20 trance records...plus one of those sites had
Angelic - Can't Keep me Silent as "Future Releases".

wtf?!?

seriously for Vinyl purchases online go to

http://www.satelliterecords.com

Pros
====
Domestic and International orders accepted
Been around for ages and ages, very trustworthy
Selection ranges in the thousandz! (recordz!)
*very* good TRANCE selection
updated quite frequently (as new records come in, give it a day to be updated on the site
Samples of the records you want to buy in Real Audio format
various payment options

Cons
====
takes about 2-3 weeks for your order to get to you

heh, feel like I work there and am advertisin for em (like that other dude that was advertising his site )

Posted by j_spot on Jul-23-2001 04:05:

hmm..Ive recently ordered from Juno and HTFR and well..prices are the same. The Juno records got here quicker by about a week, BUT they got the order wrong...and they wont write back to me.

So if anybody wants Dark Noize - Stiff and Rough I have it..and dont like it(not my style) Personally I like the HTFR site better.
