Diamonds in the rough from mp3.com

Lately I've been mad-downloading from mp3.com with my new DSL connection because I love the idea of shopping through all that stuff to find some really cool songs. That's where I found infected mushroom a looong time ago before I'd ever heard of them anywhere else. Anyhow the two really cool songs I'm thinking of now are

1. Concreate Dreams - Dance Nation (my friends says they ripped off 'concreate dreams' the expression from Shadowrun but whatever plus I didn't know that at the time I found it )

2. Danilkin & KiberJazz - To da beat (really surprisingly cool song with a saxophone featured, an awesome house or some related deep house genre beat, and killer bassline).

You know how people just try to fit genres on mp3.com and like you can hear a trance song that's like really close to 'working' but it just doesn't convince you? These songs are both just 'songs', well made etc. Can you post any more to reduce the 'searching' time of others in case any of you are also interested in randomly finding treasures from this site? tnx...

I used to listen to tons of MP3.com stuff when I was first getting into trance... you could really find some good stuff if you knew where to look. Lately the site went to shit of course but I could probably still find some nice ones if any of the artists I used to know are still there.

Concept's a producer whose sound eventually became very professional; unfortunately most of his stuff is no longer available here, the one I've linked to typifies his style quite well:

Concept - Moments In Time

Another producer I always thought was good is Rami Laine aka Raymond Wave, a Finnish producer who never achieved the same level of success as his friend Miika Kuisma.

A lot of his new stuff is quite good, try any of these... the ones below are pure trance although he has a deeper and more chilled side
as well:

The Odyssey
Phenomenon
Eye Catcher
Labyrinth
Missing

Hmmm... one more. Someone else with a very professional sound; again most of his stuff isn't online but there's at least one worth checking out. Smooth trance with definite goa influence:

Coretex - Lay Your Wings Around Me

Arrow

"In Your Mind" by DJ Mary-Jane kicks my ass. He/she/it used to have more cool songs available for download but "In Your Mind" is the best one. It's a goa song, if that makes any difference (usually that just means it's better than conventional trance ).
