Jon O'bir all the way. He got a great start. One of those guys who was in the right place at the right time. You can say luck yeah, but hes playing out like a pro lately.

peace,

Steve

Greg Murray?

I'd most likely say Greg Murray, he's been getting a lot of attention in 2003 so far

I'd like to say Ronski, but I doubt thats gonna happen.

I would say Luke Fair, he just did the In House We Trust 3 comp. for yoshitoshi! And he had an excellent remix of jas - Soul Doing Dishes. Watch out for him!

yeah Markus has been around for donkey's ! who could ever forget "You wont see my cry" ! absolutely unreal, the vocal is just soooooooooo emotional !

my pick would definately have to be Greg murray, the man everyone is talking about, along with probably the biggest thing to hit the prog scene since Sasha ! James Zabiela

Posted by rudeboy69 on Jun-17-2003 06:51:

Jon O'bir ALL THE WAY

James Zabiela, amazing DJ skills, and I think he's only 23.

Cool

Wow, Ian you must really hate Conjure One's Tears From The Moon. The Dj's I listed are already superstars but they're not in Dj Mags top 100 so I see them shooting up that list in the vote for 2003.

nah, i don't hate the hybrid mix, it's blissful, the tiesto one is overrated imho tho.

None of the names above are going to be superstars in the next 4 years. The term superstar is only given to those that have had large contributions to the dance scene. DJs that travel all over the world and play the most expensive and exotic venues, the likes of Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Sasha, Tiesto etc

In term of new talent, there are allot of new people coming through. Jon O bir is definatly going to be the next armin, he is already a superior DJ, now he needs some productions Another guy who is going to be massive in the next few years is Bart van Wissen, he has done some amazing prog house trance and now has some awesome trance tunes under his Fictvision alias.

Another amazing producer is M.I.D.O.R/sixfoureight who are aheving their two new track released under the somatic sense label, they are also responsable for the DJ precision remixes (Neo & Farina - barchetta DJ precision Mix being one)

Some others

Haak
Robbert Nickson
C-Quence
GTR
Passiva
