Exactly! Dude I think you're blowing things WAY out of proportion...she doesn't like trance? Big deal, find other things in common besides you said her personality is good? Then WICKED, and as for you not being happy at all why? Because she isnt' into trance? As long as she is open to at least trying to learn more about it from you then it would be cool. Shows she's interested in what you love. Talk to her more and see how she really is before you make such a rash judgement.

Posted by Psionic on Jun-17-2003 03:43:

Seriously, you shouldn't judge a person based on what music they don't like. Big deal.

*shakes his head and smaks u in d face*

Hmmm are you serious.... You shouldnt be ending what can be the greatest thing that has happend with you just because of the spanish music,,,, that means if you get to choose the hottest girl in the world you wouldnt date her just because she might be into different things as you,,,,,,,

Thin of it this way, if you go on marrygo round, all you do is do in circles over and over again, so it get boring,,, but if you go onto a rollercoaster theres something new around each bend and turn, so look at life the same way, because its sad to just waste yr life away in a one boring routine.

*smaks u behind d head* dont u dare do something stoopid like stuffing it off.

Posted by Drifter on Jun-17-2003 04:23:

chill out dude...find another thing that you each have in common, and sometimes its just the vibe and all, btw spanish music is like love making music

Posted by SportTrance on Jun-17-2003 04:28:

if you can find me a beautiful girl, with a great personality, that can stand listening to hours of non-stop dedicated hard techno in my car, then my god PLEASE let me know.

until then, you're bein excessively picky. Chances are you can brainwash her to into understanding what the hell you see in hours of nonstop hard hitting bass.

Take her to a party on the beach. Bring some alchohol. Her perspective on a lot will most likely change.

Posted by igottaknow on Jun-17-2003 04:43:

I agree u should ask her out and there's no better way to impress a girl than to speak her language. Get down on one knee, close your eyes, and tell her "su es mi puta pequea del espaol" j/k

But seriously if she loves you I'm sure she can learn to appreciate trance.

spanish music rocks

mmmmmmm flemenco

Posted by Floorfiller on Jun-17-2003 07:14:

who cares if she doesn't like trance...my girlfriend doesn't like it...and its a serious ass relationship. if you are really that concerned with music maybe you should re-evaluate your priorities in life...is music really THAT important...of course that answer is yes music is important, but not THAT important...

Posted by vmc on Jun-17-2003 16:39:

Now come on, taste in music isn't that important... If you like her than go for it! Time will tell if it work.

Posted by MisterOpus1 on Jun-17-2003 16:54:

Here's a piece of advice for you:

Give her a few drinks to loosen her up a little, and allow her to listen to Spanish music in the background. Then when she gets up to pee-pee, slip her a couple of rolls in her drink. Make sure they dissolve well. Then, about 45 min. or so later, when she's starting to roll hard, fade out the Spanish music and slip in your favorite trance mix. Then when she's really peakin, unzip your fly, whip out your whacker, stand over her head, and beat her over the head with your schlong to the beat of the music, all the while saying, "you'll learn to love this shit!!!"

That will teach that idiot girl to have different musical tastes than you! If she won't conform, you just try it on someone else. Sooner or later you'll either find someone that either likes the same music as you, or you'll beat it into their head with your whacker to like it.

Or perhaps you'll get over that superficiality of something as non-crucial as musical tastes that hinder your judgement on dating women. One way or another, you'll be okay.

Posted by butterfly on Jun-17-2003 16:59:

she shoud be as open to your music as you can be to hers. spanish music can be great, sensual, fun, sexy... have an open mind about music, dude.

what disturbed me more is that you met her saturday and you are worried about being in a relationship? there is no reason for things to move like that. have fun, get to know her. you shoudlnt be locked down after a day.

If your serious than its pretty sad. If you like her who cares what kind of music she likes? Hell even if she talks shit about trance it shouldnt matter. I hope this thread is a joke, because every time I see a message like this, where people won't do things with other people because of their taste in music I think its really fucking sad.

What you think this is funny or something? We're talking about a guy's love life here - don't be so callous! There's nothing fucking funny about this at all!

Besides, what's so wrong with my whacking-over-the-head-with-your-schlong proposal? I seriously think it should be given some merit here. And stop being so mean to the guy, will you?

You know it's mean people like you that really hurt our society as a whole! Here you are telling him how sad his whole situation is, when I am standing here actually trying to give him clarity amidst his confusion. Seriously now, you really ought to be more nice to people.

If you gave some meaningful advice, such as myself had done, you might be considered a more useful voice in the matter. But noooo, you just try to put him down, don't you?!? If you only gave this gentleman some good guidance, like my own spiking-her-drink-with-X-and-hitting-her-over-the-head-with-your-penis-to-the-beat-of-the-song piece of advice, we might be able to be more constructive to this individual. But you have not chosen this route, and so here we are, listening to your negativity.

Shame on you. No more posting here, please!

Wow. I may have been a little hard, but I'm totally serious, and I dont really see why everyones getting all upset about it.

My position is this. Finding a person who you feel you have a good conection with maybe even love is rare. I think it's rediculous to throw that away because there opinions on something like music are diffrent than yours. Besides it seems to me that if diffrence in music apreciacion is such a turn off, your relationship cant possibly survive if she disagree's with you on something more important than music.
