Question Technics 1210Mk2 Vs Numark TTX1s Vs Stanton ST150 Vs Citronic PD45

Which one should i buy and which one is better?

Iv read the big thing of 1200s vs numark ttx1s and at the moment im swaying towards the ttx1s. I was also considering buying some other decks tho, what about the stantons and what about the citronics(i think in america there made by american audio or something). Im heavily confused here and keep hearing conflicting messages. Ya see id get technics if it wasnt for there positevly wank pitch range, i use over 10% pitch loads on my numark tt2s which im selling, i dont think i could bear having 8%, otherwise i would get the technics. I cant afford the mk5s which do have the greater pitch range and i cant really aford the stantons, i dont know what to do, help me.

Oh yeah, just found some technics mk5 which retail at only 390 per deck, theyve got the +/-16% pitch n i might just be able to afford them, just, almost. Shit. What do i do?

Hey
Get technics !
I used to have Stantons (they were good )
I have used the Vestax's they are good
I have used the ttx1 for a bout 15 hours, and they are good

BUT

The Technics either, Mk2 or mk3 or mk5 or mk5g . the technics have the fuckin durability like no other, and a DAMn strong motor. you will be satisfied if you get mk2 or mk3 or whatever.. but you make that descion.. LATer

I've heard actually that you can tweak the techs so that the pitch range can go +-12% pitch range. Which may be your best option seeing as how the main difference between the mk5gs (which you can get at cheapest for around $599 USD) is its pitch range and the newer tone-arm system which I hear is better for scratching, however regardless a str8 arm is still better. If I were you, I would say the mk5g's are overpriced... save and get some techs or ttx1's. Possibly vestax if you're into turntablism, however ttx1's are still good for that.
Remember all that you get from techs is their proven reliability track record. Being around for 30 years, there's no other deck that has been around as long so there's no way you can't compare. That doesn't mean, however, that other decks are unreliable, far from it, its just that they haven't been around as long so there's no way we could ever tell. So what we're basically going at here is proven reliability vs. innovation. Other decks truly kick the techs stats-wise and overall funtionality and features, however the techs kick all other decks reliability-wise. What do you want? Reliability or innovation? I personally liked the ttx1's, I also liked the techs, however the ttx1's and I would guess the vestax' allow you to be much more flexible, while techs will really do their job, but probably they're still not as good for scracthing, something you generally will not have to worry about mixing trance. So its up to you: innovation or reliability.
