so with not much experience id have to say that looks pretty fuckin sweet myself. i wanna get me one of those lol. how much would that be in U.S. dollars btw??
meh its pretty
i just got my 15Gb new iPod this afternoon and omg its possibly the most beautiful piece of consumer electronics ever.
I studied product design at uni and i'm a big mac-critic but this thing is so fkin' beautiful its untrue. And it holds a tenth of my mp3 collection as opposed to the crappy 128Mb on my old player.

great stuff
gonna get one of those mp3 players very soon
i was looking at the mpio (former innogear) dmk...check www.mpio.com for more info (best looking mp3players anyway
).
but since i will only use it when im jogging i think ill get a cheaper 128mb or even 256mb usb stick that can play mp3s...i think that this is quite sufficient for that
I was so close to buying an iRiver mp3/cd player.
That is until I discovered this...
http://www.iriverjapan.com/product.php?product=iHP-100
I'm getting it as soon as it comes out over here.

IPod
I recently bought a used 5gb ipod for 150 bucks and it's been the best music device i have bought. It hold about 48 hours of music and has like an 8 hour battery life. If you are shopping around for an mp3 player i recommend you get this one.
I'm looking into an mp3 player myself, but don't want to get the iPod. What would you guys recommend by battery life, storage space, etc. I love the design of the one the original poster got, and it's pretty cool that you can just plug it into the USB w/o any cords. Anything similar to that but with more battery life/storage?
the usb thingy looks really cool, i need something likethat for the gym, something small.
a few qs?
what's the sound quality like?
does it support wma (if not, is there any good programs for converting wma to mp3 but retaining the quality)?
is the transfer rate from pc to playa fast?
or would anyone suggest an alternative player, cheap, small, fast transfer rate, good sound quality?
how much are the iPods?
thanx,
Ok I don't know much about MP3 players either and was wanting to get one...The IPod looks awesome but ratherexpensive..I saw another one at Best Buy which seem similiar to it called Archos Jukebox 20 Audio Studio player 20GB hard drive. Anyways anyone know if this Archos is any good? Im going to look around on EBay bc i cant even afford the Archos one, so hopefully I can find a good deal on Ebay or something
I saw this at
http://www.bestbuy.com
if anyone is interested at looking at some other MP# players and commenting on any of them..
Any help would be much appreciated
