Thumbs up photon project- brainwave/thoughts

I've had these on repeat all day long....

Photon project-

Brainwave 8/10
Thoughts 10/10

When the main melody hits you on "thoughts" it's pure xtc.

These are the same guys behind Twentysomething- sugar rush, and also veit- sky (magik muzik remix), and soon to be released andain- beautiful things (magik muzik remix). Just a little bit talented......

I'm not sure of the release date, but it will soon be released on ITWT label.

Blackhole/ITWT almost never dissapoints me...

2003= return of trance!!!!!!!!

didn't like Brainwave too much but ya, Thoughts really hits you! wow! Just like the good ol' days

Love Poundin' Sensation

i'm loving these tracks!

brainwave 9/10
thoughts 9/10

it really depends on the mood which one i want to hear!

thanks for the tip dave!

I got the promo vinyl of this about a week ago. Brainwave is pretty hot,I don't care for Thoughts too much. Brainwave reminds me of older trance and I like that.

Thumbs up

Yeah they are both full of nostalgia...

Posted by Glaniskanis on Jun-19-2003 10:09:

That's coz they were made in 2000 & 1999
Brainwave was 2000 I think

Are these new productions or old, previously unreleased ones?

Thoughts is a mint track, and Brainwave is quite good, too

Dawnseekers- twister

Posted by DaveSZ on Jul-09-2003 05:34:

No idea, but someone who knows them on this board posted that.

Yeah twister owns...

I think their best though is modus operandi- promise.

That's one of my all time faves.

I got that vinyl for 5 euro hehe.

i want proof of that. how do you know it?

these guys own, i love thoughts. i dont like brainwave too much, the synth is annoying me. these guys are great though, my favorite is twenty something - natural, fuckin ownage song. these two guys are really great producers, i wish they would do another 20 something

Posted by DaveSZ on Jul-09-2003 15:54:

Yeah, they are my absolute fave producers.....let's hope they do to....when I get some more $$, I'll get "thoughts." I don't like brainwave as much either. It's not as good. They have a new dawnseekers, but I have not heard it yet. I heard it's more proggy, and less of the "magik" feel. THey still do that though on some of their remixes (read Veit-sky magik muzik remix).

I wonder about that, too
Anyway, if it is that important...

Brainwave and Thoughts are NOT 'previously unreleased' tracks.

They are however based on old ideas; old MIDI's that we had
created before, but abandoned in favour of other ideas.
On review we thought they deserved to be worked out
into full productions. That's what we did, in 2003.

Brainwave and Thoughts are NEW 2003-tracks based on OLD ideas.

Greetings,

- Alco

maybe the guy who said they were old was geert then!

just kidding! i think you guys should put together an album and release it on cd, so that i could enjoy your tunes legally too, but i know it's not going to happen, so .
thank god i have enlightenment on eye trance 2 though!

Thanks for setting the record straight. We were wonderng if that other guy knew what he was talking about.

p.s. Most people I've talked to prefer 'brainwave,' but I like the epic feeling of 'thoughts' a bit better. That is for sure my favorite song under the photon project alias, because it brings back warm memories from the good old days.

I agree, Thoughts does it for me. Enlightenment is still my favourite though, that track's something else. Here's hoping they still have some of those symphonic classical style productions in them though...
