I just saw The Hulk

alright...The Hulk has gotta be the worst movie i've ever seen in my life...good thing i watched it for free in a pre-screening oh my god...saved myself 10 bucks. Without spoiling the movie, the story was just bad...everything about it was crap. Ang Lee the Visionary Director *cough* he tries to use some innovative type of screenplay by adding multiple screenshots in a scene...like during a scene all of a sudden the screen splits into six different angles/screenshots and it looked absolutely horrible...the only thing saving this movie was the okay action scenes where the hulk kicks the crap out of everybody, but besides that...this movie gets a 2/10

you werent a fan of comics then were you?

that what the cut scene is supposed to emulate.

Posted by ExOn on Jun-19-2003 10:03:

That movie hasn't even premiered yet! What you saw was prolly a workprint. The main cutting isn't finished yet.

Sadly, it looks fkin awful, the cgi is really really crappy.

*concurs*

Hell, Shrek looks more realistic than him

Eh,
I'm not too sure if Eric Bana is suited to this movie, all his lines in the previews sound sooo corny

He should come back to Australia and star in new seasons of Full Frontal

LMFAO

u lamo oh!.. hahaha.. i wouldn't watch this even if i got payed to...

Its just shocking.. i watched the trailer and knew straight away from his voice that this was gonna be shit...

i give it a 0/10

Even Disturbing Behaviour.. i gave that 1/10

unfortunately my girl Jennifer Connely is the only thing that kept that movie viewable.......

Posted by yujie__ on Jun-19-2003 15:37:

this movie is one of the worst this year. i dl the screener last week and was wathcing the 1st half. i nearly felt asleep. the action scene is ZzzzzzZZZ compare to other movies. they already show the good stuff on the previews, so there is nothing to watch. there is nothin special about it except for Jennifer Connely

what are you talking about? i saw the pre-screening for it on wednesday and it gets released in the states friday...so the version i saw was not a fucking workprint
even if it was a workprint it wouldn't be able to save the movie from being the disaster it already is

Last week, when I was at the cinema, I saw a preview of "Hulk". After that, I thought: OMG, this movie must be such a crap: the story is so sleazy, our "hero" is poorly animated - he looks like a monster in a cheap produced computergame..
Ok, I have to admit that I've never seen this movie, I just saw the preview of it, but that was already enopugh for me. I will never waste my money/time to see it!!

Posted by placebo on Jun-19-2003 17:31:

I watched a workprint of it about 2 weeks ago at a friend's house. Movie fucking sucks. Boring plot, boring action scenes, and boring actors. I didn't mind staring at Jeniffer Connely the whole time, but that didn't even save the movie. The CGI sucked too. I do understand that this is a workprint, but the movie sucked, even if the CGI was done up a little more, it couldn't save this piece of crap.

0/10

Posted by T-1000 on Jun-19-2003 20:18:

I had a hunch it'd suck, and it does

Posted by Dmatrox on Jun-19-2003 21:33:

ive seen the trailers and they suck. Its like seeing the friendly Green Giant's brother rather than an action hero. Bad CGI too.

Posted by petepish on Jun-19-2003 22:58:

I also saw the hulk, that was terrible. I was expecting a true summer blockbuster, but all i got was a sparkler.

Posted by RenderedDream on Jun-19-2003 23:17:

hmmm
i only saw the trailer and the CGI looked fine to me..
i thought it would be a cool movie but i guess i'm wrong =/
i'll watch it anyway

Son't worry about it man.....CGI is an acronym for the type of animation used thee days. Movies like Ice AGe, Shrek, Monster's Inc. and Gollum from the Lord of the Rings are all examples of CGI graphics. It's pretty much a computer-based program that is able to map out a character in 3D to give it shape, depth and contour.

Posted by TuanAnh213 on Jun-20-2003 06:26:

hopefully terminator 3 won't be as bad as the hulk...even League of Xtuordinary Men looks cool

Posted by DR86 on Jun-21-2003 04:23:

I just got back from seeing the actual movie (yes, I paid money for it), and it was actually very enjoyable. The graphics were great, and the fight scenes flowed rather smoothly. I do recommned this movie, but it would make it easier to understamd if you know the comic book.
